After RHONY, Rebecca Minkoff back to promoting Scientology’s sneaky front groups
Rebecca Minkoff may have walked away from Bravo’s Real Housewives of New York after a less-than-stellar run as a “friend” of the cast in the show’s 15th season, but it looks like she’s bouncing back by returning to what she knows so well…
Promoting Scientology’s sneaky front groups!
Minkoff got famous for her line of handbags, but we were pointing out as early as 2017 that she was standing up in public for Scientology fronts, including one that had infiltrated New York City schools to spread the good word about Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard.
And now, Alex Barnes-Ross has been good enough to forward us a mailer for “TigerCon 2025,” an upcoming conference in Tampa (April 7-9) that will feature a number of Scientology shills promoting the Hubbard College of Administration, a front aimed at professionals — most often chiropractors, dentists, veterinarians and physical therapists — to convince them to adopt L. Ron Hubbard’s “admin technology” in order to boom their firms. Here’s the mailer’s pitch!
TigerCon is more than just a conference—it's a movement aimed at fostering collaboration, innovation, and growth among business leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals, supported by the Hubbard College of Administration in its mission to elevate businesses using L. Ron Hubbard’s administrative technology in the workplace!
Here’s the lineup of speakers for TigerCon 2025.
David Brier “Award-winning designer, Fast Company blogger. brand identity specialist and speaker”
[You might also remember David from “Yo Baby,” one of the best Scientology promos ever!]
Aaron Cordovez “CEO and co-founder of Zulay Kitchen, one of the Top 100 stores on Amazon.”

[Who could forget Joy for her star turn after she ordered her PostcardMania employees in Clearwater to work through deadly Hurricane Ian!]
Karla Jo Helms “CEO, chief evangelist, international speaker and anti-PR strategist”
Rebecca Minkoff “Founder of a global fashion brand, best-selling author, and co-founder of the Female Founder Collective”
Benjamin Nagengast “CEO of Point Summit, Inc. and board chair of the Hubbard College of Administration of Tampa Bay”
[Anyone know if Benjamin is related to Judy and Bill Nagengast?]
Emmett Osborn “International speaker, business builder, and philanthropist”
Rafferty Pendery “Tech entrepreneur, international speaker, and investor”
Dr. Gerri Perri “President of the Hubbard College of Administration of Tampa Bay, with over 40 years of experience in higher education”

Bonus items from our tipsters
A reader forwarded this ad, which they were served at YouTube. Turns out it was promoting the 75th anniversary since the first publication of L. Ron Hubbard’s story “To The Stars,” which started showing up (in two parts) in Astounding Science Fiction in February, 1950.
And it reminded us that we’re just a few months away from another major 75-year milestone, the publication of Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health, known as “Book One” in Scientology and the tome that started it all.
The book itself was published on May 9, 1950, so we figure we’ll be seeing quite a buildup as the 75th anniversary nears. And plenty of time for us to remind people of what is actually in this turgid masterpiece!

Group Therapy: Our round table of rowdy regulars on the week’s news

They rounded up the troops for this con (do they mean an actual con or a convention, we'll never know).
I see Brooke Zimmatore is there with a cool haircut and a resume. He was a SCN/ Sea Org kid who looks all grown up now. The rest of the con I don't recognize. They all look so trendy, I am sure DM is salivating just looking at the flier. Those are his spirit animals, young, successful, rich (hopefully) SCN's.
