After Super Bowl win, is Philadelphia ready for a Scientology victory?
After a blowout Super Bowl win for its Eagles over the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia’s baseball Phillies are off to a 6-1 start. Can this town handle all of this winning?
We love Philadelphia and have enjoyed every visit we’ve made there, and so we wanted to make sure to let our Philly readers know that Scientology continues to make progress on its “Ideal Org” in the City of Brotherly Love.
Scientology has owned the building on Chestnut Street they plan to renovate since 2007 and it’s been sitting there rotting ever since. But the fundraising is gathering momentum as this new lengthy flier indicates.
You know how we adore these impossibly long fliers that Scientology puts out after a fundraising shindig. And this one does not disappoint!
Keep in mind “Humanitarian” is Scientology code for a donation of $100,000 and someone who donates $1 million is called a “New Civilization Builder.” How much money does it look like they managed to squeeze out of these whales this time?

Scientology is right at the top of the list for poor taste, classless. Cliche, artless, uncreative scamming. And sciebots eat it up. They lead the way in cult conduct and now it’s become acceptable to act that way for a significant portion of Americans. Hubbard’s legacy lives on.
I count at least 20 bundles of roses given out to the 'honorees'. After renting the hall, that appears to be largest expense of the evening. All of the accolades shown are similarly hilarious. I particularly love the one about 'flow'. Yes, Philly, now all roads start and finish at the Cashier window.
Will all of the older Idle mOrgs now have to be altered to comply with the 'Golden Age of Administration Ideal Org Space Plans'? I see a great opportunity for more fund raising at the already completed mOrgs.
The goofball in the red pants and blue jacket is a very public shill who has to get the audience riled up and in a money giving mood. You can be certain that all of those who publicly pissed away a lot of money were programmed well in advance of this party. You can't have a big fund raising party without a lot of funds.
