[The Lisa Marie Presley interview has now been posted and can be seen here.]
In April 2015, Lisa Marie Presley revealed in an interview that lasted hours that she was a daily reader of the Underground Bunker and had been for years.
In that interview, Presley spoke frankly and openly about her history of involvement in Scientology, and about the showdown she attempted to have with church leader David Miscavige in Florida just six months before.
As a result of that incident, she broke away from Scientology after a process that she said had taken eight years of investigation and reflection.
We have written about that incident here at the Bunker, as did Ron Miscavige and Mike Rinder in their books.
But we held back the details that Presley told us, as well as the many other things she went into, including her feelings about Scientology and her mother Priscilla Presley and daughter Riley Keough, about David Miscavige, about Shelly Miscavige, and about figures such as Tom Cruise and John Travolta. And yes, she spoke to us about her marriage to Michael Jackson.
Tragically, Presley died on January 12 of cardiac arrest, and she did not get the chance to speak publicly about her disdain for Miscavige and her dramatic break from Scientology.
On Monday, you will read the words she spoke to us about that.
The interview will be posted at 7 am Eastern for subscribers of the Underground Bunker, and will be released to everyone else an hour after that.

I’m so glad you’re giving her a voice. She deserves a major place in the pantheon of critics of the Church and her death was a terrible blow to the community.
Wow, like freakin wow. I hope the Tabloids pick this interview up.
