I have most of my life been a "glass 1/2 full" kind of person.

They need to decide tomorrow...I agree it's doubtful they want to stretch over Memorial weekend. We'll know tomorrow.

I try to imagine being a person on the jury. The key thing, of course, is again:

"Beyond a reasonable doubt". I don't see these days of discussion as negative. I HOPE

They are ironing out each question & doubt.

And soon Justice shall prevail for these courageous women.

Thank you Tony & all here πŸ’“πŸ‘πŸŒΉ

Watchers need to understand that what we know about Sci and what we know from Tony's reports and what we know from following the previous trial and other reporting from Aaron and others, is NOT what the jury knows. These people are in the jury because they knew nothing about the case, probably have little or no understanding of Sci and of the people involved. They know nothing of the first case. They also know nothing about what happens in the courtroom outside the what the Judge allows them to see.

I've heard comments about the jury being afraid of Sci which is just silly. They are looking at the evidence that is presented to them and trying to understand this crazy case. Think of how hard this is for them to manage. Remember when Tony gives us his wonderful reports he is just summing it up for us, Cohan is using flowery and legal language in grandiose ways. it's not as cut and dried as what Tony gives us.

It's horrible for these women but possibly the jury is also considering the letter of the law, they don't want to make a mistake. Getting 12 people to agree isn't easy and they are more likely to air on the side of caution and either get a hung jury or find him not-guilty or only guilty of one crime (which is not enough)

Start getting ready for the idea that Danny will not be charged. Also if he is found guilty, he isn't going to have handcuffs put on him and led to prison right after. There will be sentencing delays and then stalling on court challenges and so on. He will probably remain free until everything is completely over, possibly Sci will slip him away somewhere in that time, someplace he doesn't need a passport.

We have a long way to go still.

Stopped myself from writing a comment, will again reserve comment until after verdicts are read.
