LRH 2.0 tells 'Expedited Scientology' fans he's mulling 17-year plea deal
Could Justin Craig, the California ex-con who legally changed his name to Lafayette Ronald Hubbard while convincing some “independent Scientologists” that he’s the reincarnated author of Dianetics, and who has been sitting in a Tennessee county jail since October 2021, really be about to see freedom again?
That’s what he’s telling his followers at a private Facebook group in a message that was leaked to us this week.
LRH 2.0/Craig revealed to the group that he’s seriously considering the prospect of accepting a deal offered by prosecutors that would have him plead guilty for a 17-year prison sentence, and the time he’s spent in county jail would mean he would already be pretty close to qualifying for parole. He said he wanted to hear from his followers before making the final decision, and assured them that this may be the best way for him to get on with his work.
Our coverage of “Ron” goes back a long way. We had an interesting time in 2018 messaging with him and revealing how extensive his criminal background was, including some attempted carjackings and a penchant for violent retaliation. He didn’t seem very convincing as the reincarnated Hubbard — he didn’t know what Ron actually called his third and final wife, for example — but there are indie Scientologists who are convinced that LRH has returned to Earth, and that “Lafayette” has actually improved on Scientology’s “technology” in a new form he’s called both “Esperianism” and “Expedited Scientology.”
Those followers don’t seem bothered that 2.0 was accused of a pretty serious set of criminal allegations: That he was dealing dangerous drugs such as fentanyl from a seedy Tennessee motel where he allegedly seriously injured a woman he beat up, and that after he was taken into custody in 2021, more charges for attacking jail employees were tacked on.
With his priors in California, we figured Craig was looking at a long stretch. But he’s telling his followers that this new plea deal really isn’t bad at all…
TO BE POSTED IN THE PRIVATE GROUP
So, after I posted about the District Attorney offering me a plea agreement, we got the best deal we are probably going to get at this point.
They are offering me 17 years with parole eligibility at 35% of that sentence being completed. With the time I have served over the last 4 years (5 years based on credits I’ve earned) I would basically go up for parole immediately. Worst case scenario, I would have to do another two- or three-years max before making parole.
That is what I am currently looking at and the alternatives are not any better.
So, for the sake of the group I am considering taking this offer to get onto prison and continue doing what we have been.
From there of will be much easier for me to get work done and research the tech. I also should be able to communicate a lot better after an initial drop in comms.
Let me know what you all think on this. I do not see it as a problem and we can definitely float things for a few more years — at least until I am out of here.
Things are looking better and I believe we should have this legal situation wrapped up by the end of the year. I’d appreciate hearing from you and thank you for all your support during this difficult time.
Love, Ron
The responses are very supportive.
“The best alternative is always the best alternative.”
“I have this idea that you would reach a spiritual state that they will have to release you because they could not resist your beingness any more.”
“What is best for you is also ultimately the best for us.”
“When Ron 1.0 Maitreya, you were in the jail of the 1929 crash and in the jail of being a soldier in the middle of a war, and right after that you gave us Dianetics. Now you are in a different jail and the world is entering in a war again. It is a pattern of yours, and in this same pattern you have always been able to free yourself from that condition and then build and grow your empire of wisdom, and I have no doubt you will do it again.”
According to the Anderson County court docket, LRH 2.0 has a plea-setting hearing set for November 10.

As for the plea deal and LRH 2.0 what he says and what is in the plea deal may be two different things. Even Craig seems to believe that best case scenario he will be in there a couple more years. And…he will need to stay on his best behavior for that to work.
Dad’s only barbecue. Well it’s really sad that dad only owns one barbecue. I’m glad he got that off his chest at the start of this ridiculous announcement. Now I sincerely hope the little women will be able to put down their spatulas and take off their aprons long enough to do the RSVP duties for their husbands. But why would they even be allowed on Facebook and are they really smart enough to know how to complete such an important task🤬
