First responders are not called to Scientology properties because the illegally restricted persons are not allowed to access 911. Justice in the Sea Org is swift, brutal and not reported to the authorities.

How many rapes, assaults, expired visas, violations of OSHA rules, work-related preventable injuries, violations of labor laws and so on would be reported if it were allowed? We will never know until the day of freedom, if it ever comes, but just because someone is too blind to see it does not erase the evil.

Some day, oh Mr. so-self-righteous first responder, have one of the slave busses pulled over for a burnt-out brake light. Be sure to bring translators, Spanish, Russian and Czech at least. Probably Hungarian too. Just check visa status, no need for any other checks at first. Though you would find lots of illegal restraint cases too, if the victims had the courage to speak. Recent assaults are a possibility when Dave is around, but he probably doesn't bother to take his sadism out on people that take the bus. Senior executives that might challenge his authority are reserved to his wrath, usually.

The heart of darkness lives in your small town but truly it is said that none are so blind as those who refuse to see. Like the song says, "The trouble with you is the trouble with me. We've got two good eyes but we still can't see." (Thank you Grateful Dead "Casey Jones")

The CO$ has never been a 'partner' in urban planning. As for giving the street to the Clampire, I say go ahead. Now the pressure to build the Lroon Auditorium will ramp up and we'll see how long the fundraising goes on. It is only 2025, I bet DM can drag out the fund raising to 2035 easily.

The arguments that Cotton gave are quite facetious and have little to do with all of the other properties that the CO$ and its loyal minions have bought in the last 10 years. There are a lot of other properties that are not currently on the table. What will be done with them?

When I was a Sea Orger at Flag, training to be an auditor (which after training I still failed at it, oh well), I became a course sup in the admin (paperpushing regulations and framework of the cult), which I really enjoyed.

But this whole setup, Ron's fear of the Marcabians still who are "out there" in outer space, still always tugged at my new beliefs in LRH's views of the cosmos.

I mean, if the Marcabians really wished to keep tabs on Scientology, they could not do better than read this blog.

I hope the Marcabians somehow telepathically donate to Tony's substack and more earthlings do too.

Excellent overview of the Scientology movement, and Scientology is anti Marcabian, by the way.

(Susan Raine's writings are just brilliant.). Xenu's the bad guy. (I just read Professor Kent's first article in his and Susan Raines' excellent book on Scientology and their plans for the future.)

Well, I don't think the Marcabians are really worried about Scientology. One thing LRH missed is that there are no supernatural soul powers in the universe, contrary to Hubbard's imagination.

I was a few years back reminded by Jason Harris, one of the "Chug Programmers In Charge" in the Scientology "INCOMM" (computerization of the movement) branch, and Jason posted that LRH in the "Chug" traffic cautioned Foster Tompkins NOT to try to intervene with the Marcabian's unmanned satellite which LRH said was patrolling earth to monitor us earthlings.

So, Hubbard did believe his own stuff, that's for sure.

Gary Wiese told me one time that the Security Guards at Int had seen mysterious lights zipping down the riverbed. One of them asked Hubbard about it and he reportedly said something like: "Don't mess with those boys, they play rough!" So it may be that Hubbard never truly drank his own kool-aid to the dregs, but he certainly believed in the space opera part.

This councilman’s response is typical of the term “willful ignorance”.

Unfortunately it’s now a fact that a fairly large percentage of the US population, perhaps over 50% are afflicted with this ailment.

Once a person has experienced or studied how persistent a cult can be one understands that only one group benefits from the cult’s activities. And even when the group is exposed it continues to carry on its mission. And just a small faction of the cults sycophants and the supreme leader benefit. And now we have two examples with the Clearwater council caving to Scientology and Schumer and gang caving to the MAGA cult. Clearwater just took two steps back. Remember this term, “will ignorance”. It kills more people than heart attacks, cancer and accidents.

Cotton’s rhetoric is political hogwash:

“Our brand is more than scientology. As a second-generation native, I believe downtown Clearwater can and should be more than it is today. A thriving city is not defined by any one institution, but by its people, its businesses, and its vision for the future.”

When outside people hear the words “The city of Clearwater”, they think of one thing.

Scientology.
