It is so sad to see that this woman is living in her self-imposed prison while missing out on the joys of being a grandmother.

It is interesting to see that the same filters are used when filming all the POW videos for Scientology.

Marc and Claire are the ones flourishing and prospering in this while Trudy scratches out a living and attempts to redo her bridge. If only she could see past her fear.

How sad, Trudy Hensley seems to be doing Steps A to E for eternity. Sisyphus is jealous.

I feel for Marc. I can relate to losing family members to Scientology. Both my children disconnected from me. It’s never too late to escape from Hubbards brainwashing. Marc can always reach out to his mother. She can’t communicate to him, he can communicate to her.

I watched the Blown for Good podcast about Marc's mother. He has such good humor about it, but it feels truly sad to me someone wasting their life in SCN: Many scams in one.

So very sad on so many levels! Sad that Marc and Claire's children will never be able to have a relationship with their grandmother, sad that Marc and his mother continue to be estranged due to Scientology, and sad that his mother continues to support Scientology's futile and archaic letter writing efforts. Once my family and I left Scientology, we received numerous letters like the one his mother wrote. Long before the days of recycling, these promptly went into the trash bin.

And when local orgs survive on a shoestring budget (and that's on the good weeks), much of their resources go to these letters and other worthless promo. They probably still use mimeo machines and follow LRH 1950's advice on marketing and advertising. They feel that going against these old directives would be like setting their hair on fire, very bad for their eternal well-being.

I feel you don't miss what you never had, as far as the kids go.

Does anyone know WHY the CoS of Ohio's Cincinnati org is located in KY?

I actually saw this letter in a thread on Reddit and asked the same question. Apparently Northern Kentucky is part of the Greater Cincinnati area. Even the Cincinnati Airport is located in Covington, KY.

Lroon and his mini me Dave Miscavige can't read maps.

My last year in Scientology in Toronto was in 1988. Exactly 20 years later in 2008 I received a call from a staff member at my local org. I thought I made it clear to her that I was gone from Scientology forever. She sent me a video anyway which I sent back to her immediately. I included a note saying not to contact me again or send any more mail. She also passed my name onto the other staff members, and I started getting non-stop phone calls. No matter how many times I told them to take my name off their list and stop calling, the calls never stopped. Since I only use a mobile phone now, they're unable to contact me. You don't have to be stupid to be a staff member at a Scientology org, but I guess it's an asset to Miscavige who is pulling the strings of these puppets. Vladimir Lenin had a term for people similar to Scientology staff members- 'useful idiots'.

Nothing Scientology does is surprising, but is it common for people to be kicked out of the sea org after a family member escapes? It reminds me of how political prisoners in North Korea may be punished to the third generation.
