We’ve had a big week of hard-hitting stories here at the Underground Bunker. But we’re always happy to pause for a cool, refreshing taste of Scientology propaganda! And even if the organization has struggled coming out of the pandemic, the fundraising and marketing must go on!
I do get the combination of mind-fuck, sunk cost, and social pressure that keeps these folks believing that they are " making a difference" and "saving the planet". It doesn't make the spectacle of this ideal org propaganda and the cosplay shakedowns it promotes any less disgusting, less depressing, or less darkly comic...
I sincerely wish that these folks will wake up and regain control of their lives...and that Santa Claus will deliver Bubba a bouffanted ecclesiastical drink stand for christmas...
It has always unnerved me that the Delphian school never seems to mention Scientology. I kept getting pamphlets from them when my daughter was school aged. You have to hunt through the website to find any mention of LRH.
Almost anyone outside of Scientology looking at those event photos would recognize the insane zealots those members are. The two people wearing their ideal Org jackets look bonkers.
