Scientology staff scores with a new all-star: Pro dunker Connor Barth!
He’s been featured at ESPN’s TikTok account, and his 50-inch vertical leap is the stuff of dozens of YouTube videos.
He’s Connor Barth, a Clearwater, Florida pro dunker who has decided it’s time to step up his Scientology game and join staff at the Orlando org. And the best part is, he wrote a lengthy testimonial describing his reasons.
We have to admit, we didn’t know that slam-dunking on its own had become something one could do professionally. But after a little searching around about it, it doesn’t appear to be the most lucrative of pursuits.
Connor has been supplementing his slam-dunking competitions by signing up paying followers to learn how they too could increase their vertical leap. But perhaps this too is a rather limited market, and Connor needed something more substantial to sink his teeth into.
Connor has decided to dedicate himself to becoming a staff member at the Scientology org, and to get trained to be an auditor. And he takes the time to go into some detail about why this is the greatest thing ever. We’re very curious to see what the former Scientologists in our audience think about his reasoning.
Pro Dunker joins staff in Orlando Org!
My biggest reason for joining staff is because I want to help people. I have been a professional athlete and I currently work in physical training. I have been applying Scientology to my job for a long time. I use Study Technology to better train people.
One day I realized what other people are going through in regards to the reactive mind. I realized it didn't matter what I did physically. I could create the most perfect company with the greatest system ever for healing people’s physical ailments, but if their minds weren’t right they would negatively affect their bodies. They would ruin it even if I educated them. And eventually it wouldn’t help people anymore.
I realized that the only way that I could actually achieve my goal was to also help people mentally and spiritually so that their gains are lasting. I could then achieve my actual goal of making sure no one ever had to have a body problem again. So joining staff has to do with helping people on all levels at the same time.
My dynamics have definitely expanded since joining staff. It’s interesting. I think at first someone might mistake joining staff is like a contraction or regression. Because they may feel they don’t have as much time to get everything done. They’re probably going to feel stressed all the time.
They’re probably going to have like all these phenomena happening in their life which seems like it was a bad decision. But I think what’s important is to take a step back and look at what’s actually happening. All of this is just confusion blowing out of your life as you align all these different areas of your life. The other thing is going to be that you’re really busy and there are other staff members depending on you. Especially in my position where it’s getting new people in every day. There are people out there living their life who want Scientology but are depending on me to introduce them to it. And they don't even know it, but I do.
What I want to achieve with being on staff is twofold. I have my own personal goals, but those personal goals rely on Scientology, helping people be more able so that it works.
I wanted to become as trained and competent and audited as possible in the shortest amount of time possible. Because in any given life, you only get so much time and it would be a waste if you just waited. The sooner you do it, the sooner you increase the efficiency of your life and the more you’ll get done in a given life. So joining staff contributes to this goal. It aligns perfectly.
I could get Training and Processing on my own as a public. But competency is over case gain. And the best way to get competent is on staff. On staff I am forced to apply what I learn on an immediate basis because we are always getting products. There is a demand there that is not like being out on your own. So I have sped up my learning process.
What better way to do that than to get into an org and see exactly how the policies are supposed to be applied. Because when I do that, I'll actually be able to apply it to the rest of my life better. I've become so much more effective across my dynamics.
This is why I want to be an executive at Orlando Org. I wanted to be one of the most trained people ever. But not only that I wanted to become one of the most competent people ever. I’ve done very little training in Scientology compared to others but even with the small data I’ve studied it has helped me so much.
This job is so fulfilling there is nothing more important than this. And it doesn’t mean other things aren’t important, it just means that if you’re looking at what’s most important it’s this because it leads to everything else.
I’ve already had effortless wins applying what I’ve learned being on staff to my job and life in general. This truly benefits all dynamics.

I hope he has a lawyer NOT a Scientologist to advise him on all the contracts he'll be signing away his rights to Scientology, to review and tell him how screwed he is.
Never join staff, you pretty much sign your soul away to Scientology for life, the "Staff Contrat" and any other contracts give up your rights for life in so many tiny detailed sentences in the contracts.
NEVER join, never SIGN any of the Scientology contracts. They are a trauma/engram all their own.
Yes, those are all the standard excuses for staying on staff even when it is obviously a huge mistake. I love the idea of "confusion blowing off", in other words things have totally gone into the toilet and it is a huge mess but that is just what happens when you start to put order into something. Right, Ron!
He is delusional if he thinks he will get trained to be a respected executive. Staff training is super low priority in an actual org. Maybe he hopes to get sent to Flag to do the FEBC.
