You know we like to keep track of Scientology leader David Miscavige’s real estate ambitions, and just a few days ago we told you that we’d heard about some progress being made in Buenos Aires, but we hadn’t heard much from other locations.
Well, wouldn’t you know it, just as soon as we got that story out, we did start to hear about a couple of “Ideal Org” projects that actually may be very close to having their grand openings.
And you know what that means: Dave will be coming out of his hidey hole to cut a big ribbon and shoot off some confetti!
For those just catching up, since 2003 Miscavige has dealt with declining church membership by putting a huge emphasis on endless fundraising in order to replace ordinary “organizations” or “orgs” (Scientology’s word for churches), with larger and spiffier “Ideal Orgs.” Over that 22 years, he’s managed to complete 68 of the projects (with one, in Moscow, being closed by the government, so he’s left with 67). Four of them, delayed by the pandemic, opened in quick succession last year in Austin, Mexico City (its second Ideal Org), Chicago, and Paris.
Dave was on the scene for those grand openings, except for in Paris, where we believe he taped a speech a week or two early rather than show up at the actual event. So as far as we know, the last time the reclusive church leader was on site for an Ideal Org grand opening was the shindig in Chicago just about a year ago, on March 3.
We figure he’s probably itching to get out for another one. So where is he likely to show up?
First of all, we said we hadn’t heard much in recent months from the folks in San Juan, Puerto Rico, who had earlier boasted about working hard on a Central Files project. And if they’re already updating files, it suggested the project was nearing completion. But how soon?
Well, one of our tipsters forwarded a new update on the files project which suggests the ribbon cutting is actually very near…
Puerto Rico Files Progress
As some of you may know, I've been dealing with two flooded houses from Hurricane Helene. I'm by no means done — after several grueling weeks I'm back to a somewhat normal life.
And back to one of my favorite topics in the cosmos — the latest Files Project for Puerto Rico Ideal Org.
The team in Puerto Rico has been doing an incredible job!
The Files Project is more than just Central Files — it's every type of folder in the org. Here's the current status of the project:
As you can see, Div 4 PC and student folders are 100 percent done Done DONE! The Div 6 pc and student folders are coming along really well.
The real mountain to climb is Central Files. Marry-Up is the process of taking all of each person's data and entering it into the computer database. Once those records are made up to date, the new folders can be made.
Marry-up is about 6 percent complete. There's a lot of work left to do — over 28,000 records to update! And creating the CF folders is in its infancy.
Borrowing a famous movie line, "Help us, Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're our only hope!"
We have two months until the org opens. The Files Project HAS to get done. But we won't get it done without your help. If you can go, or know someone who can go, contact me!!!
It's a great time to be in Puerto Rico — the weather is just right! You have the chance to spend time on a Caribbean island and help clear the planet at the same time!

Did you catch that? He’s claiming they’re pulling the ribbon in only TWO MONTHS. Yowza.
We wondered if we could get some photographic proof to back that up, so we went searching for the org itself.
According to the architect hired for the project, the building that Scientology had purchased for its Ideal Org in San Juan was formerly the headquarters for a home furnishings company named Impec. Here’s what the building, at the corner of Avenida de la Constitución and Avenida Roberto H. Todd, looked like in 2016…
And now here’s what the same building looked like just a little over a month ago…
As you can see, they have been busy! Here’s Scientology’s rendering of what they had originally been aiming for it to look like on opening day…
Looks like some changes have been made to the design, but we’d love to get some even more recent shots to see if the signage has been put in place. Can someone go by and snap a shot for us?
Could a grand opening be coming in only a couple of months? It sure looks like it’s possible.
But hang on, there might be another contender in the wings.
After we posted our previous story, we heard from Rod Keller, who has long kept an eye on Scientology’s projects. He told us that he expected the next one to open would be in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
That sent us looking for some photographic evidence, and sure enough, the Ideal Org there is looking even closer to completion…
This image, from last August, shows Scientology signage already in place and the building looking quite ready.
Is Dave headed to South Africa soon? Or will Puerto Rico get him first?
Tipsters, tells us what you’ve heard!

Shoot, we missed out. Maybe there’s another one tomorrow?

Group Therapy: Our round table of rowdy regulars on the week’s news
Ron writing on “The Golden Rule”? Give me a break!
The bottom line is: Hubbard was clever in developing his version of “How to Study”. Parts of his study tech are useful, like looking up words. As with all his TRUTHS he built in some kind of a lie that forwarded his narrative that; what he wrote or said was always true AND if “you” didn’t understand it then “you” had a misunderstood word.
And that BIG LIE allowed him and his minions to put the blame on the student who had disagreements with what “Ron says”. In fact what Ron says is either out and out manipulative crap or a mix of truth and lies. So no one could make sense of it no matter how many words you look up.
This is how he was able to forward his BS therapies and organizational policies. So Hubbard’s spin on the Golden Rule had to be classic. How well did he apply that rule to his own life and family?
In $cientology, the golden rule means he with the gold makes the rules. Or in the Clampire's case, Goldenrod papers that make your $cieno family shun you.
Where can Miscavige get the best PR for opening a mOrg? If he chooses South Africa, he may get Elon Musk's attention and perhaps good will. Puerto Rico on the other hand has been fundraising for years and if the screed about Central Files is true (and never accept anything they put out as 'true') they could open up anytime staff has completed the golden age of management.
Who are the local whales who are paying for upkeep and management training? They are key to whom opens first.
