Events for staff, if you were allowed to go, was an "ordered" and must be complied with bit of time off from post, so always was like enforced "Libs" sort of.

Staff we weren't to eat up the food and drinks for the public, we were to stand around, possibly sit in the rear rows, and the one year I was "public" after Sea Org, I contacted by phone Kirsten Caetano (now Pederson) to see if it was "okay" that I as an ex Sea Org went, I did, I could only sit in the last rows of the balcony, LOL, and it felt odd.

In the lobby of the Shrine that year, it was 2003 and I think the LRH Birthday event, I just went to ASHO, took the public bus to the Shrine, walked to the balcony, watched the event, went back and took the bus back to ASHO, I didn't spend more than a very fast walk through the "annex" part of the Shrine where the food and drinks were set up, and I skipped it all, even as a "public" now ex Sea Org member.

it's uncomfortable, if someone sees you, I did, I met one person Jim Yunker who I'd known all the way back in 1976 at Clearwater when Jim also was Sea Org, he was even off the Apollo as a Sea Org vet in Clearwater and that day in 2003 he was out. The number of ex Sea Org who were apparently in the Scientology community includes an immense amount of ex Sea Org, and many who had been Apollo vets and thus had tiny bits of LRH facetime in their own histories.

That whole ex Apollo vet experience of being a "public" again, is something I wished could have been written by one or more of them.

Going from trusted Sea Org staff, many around LRH, like JIm who had even been a short time as LRH's butler job on the Apollo, is something historical which their views on history aboard the Apollo, and then their lives after, I always wondered about.

The whole Saint Hill region must be littered with ex Sea Org staff, and now with the aging population of ex's, those that were Saint Hill staff or public who might have been there when LRH was, that whole experience I wish more had written about, there cannot be too many of the Saint Hill vets who had LRH facetime experiences left around.

Scientology essentially per the Hubbard accumulated rules, does not care to get its history by the ex's written about, and they are penalized for doing more memoirs, those old LRH facetime spending Saint Hill vets or the Apollo vets who transitioned to "public" status as Scientologists.

Scientology buries and ignores and penalizes history telling, but it would be somewhat important I think to have all the history stories of all the people who have LRH facetime history.

"LRH Facetime Stories". type of book, and just have all the persons' stories of their LRH facetime moments they recollect, for posterity, and good or bad, and not omit the bad. Just tell it all as best one can, in sequence, etc.

I wonder which of those going to the IAS event today even know of all their group members' history, probably some has filtered into their minds, but not much.

I’m looking forward to Apostate Alex visiting St. Hill during the IAS event. The big tell will be how many members of the cherch actually show up. I’m sure every staff member in every Org in Europe will be required to go.
