Our tipsters have been busy, sending us a number of interesting things from inside the world of Scientology that we thought you’d want to see.
The first comes from a reader who spotted a Facebook posting that offers help for parents who will be going to the Flag Land Base this holiday season.
Flag, as it’s known, is Scientology’s “spiritual mecca” in Clearwater, Florida, where upper-level Scientologists from around the world must go for certain arcane processes that can only be obtained there. And it can take weeks for those processes to occur.
We remember actor Jason Beghe explaining to us what a commitment it is for Scientologists to go to Flag, putting their lives back home on hold and paying for accommodations and other ancillary costs beyond merely the tens of thousands your processing is going to run.
And yes, if you head to Florida for a month or more, what do you do about your kids? Well, that’s where this helpful posting comes in…
“M7” is a reference to Word Clearing Method 7, one of nine different versions of exercises for looking up the meanings of words, which founder L. Ron Hubbard was obsessed with. Method 7 specifically refers to working with children. It has the kids reading something aloud, with the coach stepping in to define any word that the child has problems with.
So, rest assured as you’re having your ability to detect the saline content of your cells upgraded on the Space Age fifth floor of the Super Power building, you kids will be kept busy looking up words back at the Fort Harrison Hotel. Hip, hip, hooray!
The tipster who forwarded this next item said they were surprised to see Scientology appear to admit that its methods of “assists” are merely another form of faith healing, the “laying on of hands,” which was the subject of a “sermon” during the “ordination” of two new “ministers” at the Flag chapel.
How’s that for some religious cloaking!
Now, contrast that churchy language with the more traditional Scientology appeal to infinity and power in this come-on encouraging Scientologists to spend the money to travel to the Caribbean and spend a week aboard the Freewinds…
THE ROUTE TO INFINITY CONVENTION gives you the LRH tech to unleash your innate ability and power right now.

Still, even thetans experience the sadness of lost love, apparently, because another tipster forwarded us this listing they found in their local section of Meetup…

Your divorce or breakup is devastating, and I understand that, but the important thing now is to move on EMOTIONALLY. That's why I created this group.
I want to help everyone who is still hurting from a divorce or breakup to get over and move on from the betrayal or disappointment. You CAN do it. You just need some help and tools.
And to provide for that help and tools, we are going to have meetups. We are going to have some free classes about life improvement, we are going to read some self-help books, and we are going to help you regain your self-confidence, happiness, stability and mental wellness, for these might have taken a hit due to the divorce or breakup.
But most importantly, we are going to help you work on having a better future—a better mindset, a better lifestyle, better mental health, and a better future relationship.
We will have free weekly Zoom meetings online.
Join this group now and let's get started.
This group brought to you by the Church of Scientology in Washington, DC, to help with overcoming the pain of divorce, breakups, and moving on.
The “I” in that listing is none other than Tony Chen, who has been targeting Craigslist and Meetup with listings like this for more than a decade. The guy never gives up!
But hey, he has a planet to clear, and sad vulnerable people to target. Nothing slows him down, apparently.
And finally, we have yet another dispatch from Puerto Rico, which seems determined to be the next Ideal Org project to be completed. But before it can, it has even more files to clean up!
There is a lot happening on the Files Project.
There are new folder covers for CF folders, PC folders, Student folders, Personnel folders, Treasury folders and Ethics folders.
· There is one computer set up to do the marry-up – entering all data about each person into the central database. Two more computers are getting set up to expand capacity.
· Two staff are coming from CLO to set up the new computers and get the marry-up line completely rocking and rolling.
· One full-time volunteer is on-site NOW and working away!
· Another full-time volunteer is arriving this week.
· And a third full-time volunteer is arriving next week!
· There is one accommodations space set up and we’re setting up a second to host the help needed to complete this project.
You may remember we had a 3BR apartment this past summer, which worked great when the students from the two schools were in town. But it was a little pricey for only one or two volunteers, so we changed direction.
Two public have opened up their houses, offering a large dedicated room in each. The first is already set up and we’re setting up the second. They can easily fit two bunk beds (4 beds total) in each, three max (six beds total). We’ll have the guys dormitory and the gals dormitory!
There’s a LOT of attention now focusing on the recruitment, Files Project and recovering public onto service. Man, things are hopping!
We need MORE volunteers to work on files! Many of you have time available with the holiday season coming up – what better way to celebrate Peace on Earth and Good Will Towards Men than by helping create MORE peace on earth and good will towards men by spending time over the holiday season working on CF in Puerto Rico? It’s not all hard work – outside activities are also planned to enjoy this island paradise. (Most people from Clearwater could care less about visiting Puerto Rico’s beaches – after all, we have our own beach paradise. But trips to the mountains and rivers and waterfalls are a super treat!)
Contact me to arrange your trip to work on CF on the island paradise of Puerto Rico. J
We also need donations for the logistics of flying and feeding volunteers. You can donate $10, $20, $50, even $100 to the Puerto Rico OTC, which goes directly to the Files Project: Donate Here

The Assists Technical Training Film also makes the analogy between Scientology touch assists and faith healing. The opening montage also shows relics of saints, implying that the idea is ridiculous and Scientology has all the good stuff.
The joke is on them. The idea that pain impulses can get locked into nerve channels, needing a release by the touching hands of a clam is even more ridiculous than invoking a higher power. At least there is some chance that the higher power actually exists.
To a clam there is no higher power, like Hubbard they are all little gods unto themselves. Unknowingly invoking the wrong deity, though Hubbard seems to have known what he was doing when he was fooling around with Jack Parson's girl.
Somehow all that stuff didn't make it into his later lectures and writings, except cryptically in names like "OT" and the famous crossed-out cross. From "Ordo Templi" to "Operating Thetan". Covered thoroughly in Revelation 13 for those who revere the Bible.
In reading Tony’s latest Scientology news, I felt like it was 30 years ago. Scientology does not change and that is its downfall. Stuck in the past with manila folders or ordaining new ministers.
Such unadulterated hypocrisy.
