Testimonial: Waking up your Scientology space cooties with Neil Gaiman’s nephew!

Another testimonial from Scientology’s UK headquarters at Saint Hill has come our way, and thank you to Apostate Alex for sending it over.

On the heels of his wife Louisa getting through the Wall of Fire and OT 3, Alessandro Calcioli is a couple of steps ahead of her, completing New OT 5. And he’s written a lengthy success story.

We’ll remind you again that this is a very important Scientology couple in England. Louisa’s father, Peter Hodkin, has long been the church’s top lawyer there, and fought for a law change that would recognize Scientology “religious” weddings. When he succeeded, Louisa and Alessandro were the first couple married under the new law in 2014.

Ale himself is the son of Lizzie Calcioli, née Gaiman, the sister of famous science fiction and fantasy author Neil Gaiman, who unlike the rest of the family has been out of Scientology since the 1980s, but today finds himself in some hot water.

So take a look at Ale’s description of what a life-changing experience he’s been through, and then we’ll discuss a little about the part he’s not telling us, what New OT 5 actually is.

A COMPLETE MIRACLE

New OT V answered every question I had and every question I didn’t even know I had.

This was the one that fixed things I had always wanted to fix, the one that repaired any and all physical conditions I had, and the one that truly woke me up as a Being. So for the first time I finally understand what the Bridge offers to Mankind.

But first, let’s backtrack a bit to August 2019, when I attested to the State of Clear. As you can imagine I felt pretty great, and just wanted to keep rolling. I completed the Student Hat and OT Preparations, but then had a few books to finish before I could start Solo I, so off I went just meandered through them at a ‘don’t worry I’ll be through them at some point’ and then 2020 happened – or rather, it didn’t happen.

Then, as 2021 continued the trend of not really happening, I truly allowed the MEST universe to take hold. I got into the very, very many excuses that this universe will throw at you to ensure you don’t go OT, and trust me it is very good at it.

Everything from the absurd to just the normal barriers of everyday livingness all conspired against me and I had to make a very definite decision to overcome all that, to be here or be in session and just make it through, so that in less than seven months after first stepping into the OT I course room, I attested to New OT V.

Now, I know the Code of Honour says to “Never regret yesterday,” but I wish I could go back and show my 2019-self what I was on the precipice of.

I was a man who had just been handed the keys to the kind of spiritual freedom and enlightenment we’ve been searching for, for trillions of years, and I went ‘meh, I’ll open that door in a bit’ and walked away.

If I had simply had the guts to walk right on through, I could have enjoyed the utter bliss that is New OT V years earlier, including the privilege of being audited by a Class IX.

Firstly, on a physical level, things happened to me that would honestly be considered a miracle in any other circle.

About 15 years ago I had a lung collapse. I was X-rayed and poked and prodded, but there was no medical reason for it, yet I could barely walk. I got a NED Assist and fixed the issue.

On New OT V, I addressed it again, this time as an OT. I stepped out of session that day and I breathed in – it was the first truly deep breath I had taken in a decade and a half.

Equally remarkable was what happened when I addressed a tear in my left shoulder that happened 11 years ago.

At the time I suffered intense pain from it for about 18 months, until I just got used to the dull ache that was constantly in my left shoulder – every day – for 11 years.

Then one New OT V session happened and I haven’t felt a single somatic in that shoulder since. Naturally though, the physical miracles pale in comparison to the spiritual gains.

New OT V answered so many questions about myself, this planet and its inhabitants. There were answers to questions I couldn’t even formulate until I started on the OT levels, but as I progressed up I would quietly ask myself why a certain part of my case was the way it was, and so on.

Every level answered questions but on New OT V it was like LRH had laid out all the missing puzzle pieces for me to just easily slot home.

And whilst these truths about our universe may be lofty, the effect of learning them can be seen just in the ARC triangle. Because what these truths gave me was a complete Reality of myself, my fellows and the trap we’re all in.

And as that reality grew exponentially, so did my Affinity for others and my ability to Communicate to them. And before I knew it, I had gleaned an Understanding of life that means I’m no longer left wondering why.

Another major change is just how damn happy I am all the time. This wasn’t just feeling stable, this was a Power condition on my own happiness in life – a perfect steady rise after a screaming affluence, brought on not just from New OT V but from all the steps preceding it.

Because let me tell you, what New OT V does is build upon the tower of learning and case-gain that was carefully assembled through all the previous OT levels, but it adds height and depth to that tower at a speed that is inconceivable.

Not only that, but by the time I was finished I knew that Solo NOTs was within my grasp and what once felt like a far-off dream, a thing that other people could do but I never could, well now I can say with certainty that before this year is out I will be auditing on New OT VII.

Isn’t that great stuff? And it’s always interesting to see Scientologists making outright medical miracle claims, the kind of thing that got founder L. Ron Hubbard in some trouble back at the start of things.

So what is New OT 5? We remembered that a decade ago, Bruce Hines explained it to us as part of the series we did with him and Claire Headley, describing each step on the Bridge from beginning to end.

Bruce did his best to explain the bizarre evolution that these OT levels had been through, and you should do yourself a favor and read his entire description of OT 5.

But if we had to summarize it briefly, after discovering on OT 3 that you are infested with unseen “body thetans” — the disembodied souls of beings that have been here since Xenu brought them to Earth 75 million years ago — you are instructed in the process of finding these “BTs” and driving them off.

Then, on OT 4 you discover not only are you still infested with hundreds or thousands of additional BTs, but that they need drying out after the drug-binges they had been through some millions or billions of years ago.

And now on OT 5, Bruce explained, you are told that there are yet even more BTs in and around you, but this time they are sleeping and you need to wake them up before you can drive them off!

Yes, this is really what people like Alessandro Calcioli are doing and paying tens of thousands of dollars for at each level, but then not divulging what it’s all about, even in testimonials to other Scientologists.

Surely, this planet will be cleared in no time.
