We’d love to hear from anyone who attended last night’s big “Summer Bash For Freedom” at the Fort Harrison Hotel auditorium, Scientology’s holiest site and centerpiece of the Flag Land Base in Clearwater, Florida. How did it go?
At the last minute yesterday, we were forwarded a video invitation to the event that we thought you’d like to see, even if it’s for an event that already happened.
We’re connoisseurs of Scientology promotional materials, and we especially enjoy video appeals like this. We saw several fliers for this event, and we’re getting the idea that this push for an “Ideal USA” was a pretty big deal for church leader David Miscavige.
But what are they getting at? Why is it so important that they have this “amazing” lineup of speakers (and singer Stacy Francis!) at this event?
What they mean by “Ideal USA” is the goal to complete the Ideal Org program in this country, which would mean finishing the fundraising, renovation, and grand openings of additional new Ideal Orgs in Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Long Island, Boston, Philadelphia, Albuquerque, New Haven, and Battle Creek. (Did we miss any?) They would then join the Ideal Orgs in the rest of the country, the latest two being Chicago and Austin, to make the entire country Ideal.
Previously, California went Ideal when it finished converting its normal orgs into Ideal ones. And those of you who live in California, aren’t you amazed what a difference it has made there?
OK, so we’re a little skeptical about the effect that going ideal will have on this country. Still, we always enjoy getting these peeks into what’s going on in Scientology right now, and we thank our tipster for forwarding the video. Let us know whether this pitch would have convinced you to come down to the Fort Harrison for last night’s party!

The entertainment portion of the 'party' is a few corn cobs short of a clambake. Davy's slush fund must be getting low, you know that when the Clams are screaming, the SPs are winning.
How many times did she say amazing? And who is she, like we should know??? I am so not into hype, sensationalism, idolatry, let alone would wear any patriotic bullshit due to the fraudulent corporate US government. Scientology would not exist if someone or an agency with integrity stood up and said--"NO MORE"!!!
Oh, and Tony, you mentioned all the new or refurbished Ideal Orgs coming? Wouldn't it just be a hoot, if not ironic and apropos, for the lawsuits to go viral and people in Scientology wake up and stop throwing their money in the pot? Wonder then how long the so-called church would be around??!!
