Where is Scientology keeping Andrew Barton?

[Janis Grady sent us this appeal, asking for attention to another of Scientology's abuses, and we knew you’d find it interesting — and we want to hear from you if you can help us with any information about it.]

Andrew Barton is the youngest child of Noel and Marion Barton.  My family has known Noel since before I was born. He was the first person my father got into Scientology from his lectures. 

Andrew's older sisters are still in the Sea Org — Liz Ingber and Nettie Allcock. Marion, the middle sister who had left the SO in the 1980s, sadly passed away in 2016. She too had tried to find her brother. 

I last saw Andrew on Scientology’s cruise ship the Freewinds as crew in 1988 and 1990. 

This is a family that has been destroyed by Scientology for at least the last 40 plus years, with three daughters and a son all joining the Sea Org and disconnecting from the parents — one later blew the SO and reconnected to her parents (Marion/Maz) but she has since passed away. Her sisters wouldn't even talk to her even when she was on her deathbed — I know this as my sister Terri and I were there instead for Maz with her children. 

In 2013, apparently Liz and Nettie had not seen their brother Andrew in six years — I heard he was either back on the Freewinds or in the RPF in Clearwater.  Years earlier, Lizzie had called her older brother, William, (who had never been in Scientology) and asked if he had seen Andrew. He had not. Lizzie called back later and said never mind. But she would not answer William's questions about where Andrew was.

Andrew’s parents have been searching for him for years and even did an interview with Bryan Seymour of Sydney Australia News about 15 years ago trying to locate him and tried to check if he was on a merchant marine ship. 

His parents, who live in Perth, Western Australia, are in their late 80s and the mother is now in a nursing home. Since they lost three daughters and a son to the Sea Org, it would mean the world to them just to know where Andrew is and that he is OK, or better yet get a phone call from him and his sisters.

Any help from anyone who might know his whereabouts would be appreciated.
