Scientology’s UK headquarters at Saint Hill Manor in Sussex mailed out another success story, and so we’d like to help them get the word out.
Please read this testament about going OT at Saint Hill, written by Louisa Calcioli…
I have lived in East Grinstead my entire life, so I would often hear about people going OT and their incredible, life-changing wins. But honestly it was never real to me that I needed to get further than Clear. Because, growing up in a Scientology family, being educated at Greenfields surrounded by friends who were also Scientologists, I had a pretty great life.
Really, my life was so good that once I had gone Clear I thought ‘what else could there be’? Well, I soon found out that there is SO much more! But first I had to get there and I had a back off on studying. So, after I went Clear and discovered just how much study there was to do, I honestly couldn’t confront it. But as my friends and family started to move up to full OT, I realised that without confronting the study required, I would never move on the Bridge myself.
So, I looked at what could I confront. I took my next Basic Book, and broke it down, so that I was studying each week. I continued to do that through each book, taking one chapter at a time, and suddenly realised my runway was getting shorter and my confront had gone up! So much so that by the time I was on the last couple of books I realised it was no longer a confront-process — I was actually enjoying it!
Next came the Solo Auditor course, and suddenly I had to confront learning how to use an E-Meter. However the Solo Auditor course, is so beautifully laid out, gradient by gradient, that again I just applied my stable datum of confronting the next step, only this time it was a step on a checksheet and the result was that I was a Solo Auditor!
I was ready to start my OT levels, and I realised my confront was at a whole other level, and by the time I got onto OT III, there was no back off anymore, I could take the next step without even having to think about it!
OT III, has been, by far, my favourite OT level. I feel like I have gotten more gains from this level than any other step on the Bridge. I have had so many cognitions of things that I know I have caused. For instance, one conversation wasn’t going how I wanted it to and I was thinking “no, I’m done with this entheta.” At which point their viewpoint completely shifted almost like a light switch had been flicked, and they were suddenly being completely theta and figuring out how they could be cause!
I experienced so many simple things like having an upset with someone, going in session, coming out and suddenly they were completely fine and there was just no upset anymore. I realised that there were scenarios in everyday life where previously I might have gotten enturbulated or introverted, but this simply stopped happening.
I actually thought to myself “Wow! This is a nice feeling, I have no doubts or considerations.” Instead I was left with complete freedom to flow sane thoughts and all on my own determinism. A great example of this was at work, where I had a cycle which would normally have created a lot of enturbulation and problems which I would have carried around with me all day.
Instead, I was able to handle it and just enjoy the rest of my day. But, one of the best feelings was a huge weight disappearing suddenly. I actually felt it physically, how heavy it was and then it went. I hadn’t even consciously realised it was there, until it wasn’t and I felt like I had a new lease of life!
In general I have this calmness now that means that I can really look at any situation and see it completely and be Cause over it. I no longer get myself worked up or even stressed, instead I’m able to just be me and it’s a fantastic state to be in.
Doing my OT levels at Ron’s Home, has made Saint Hill an even more magical place as if I’m experiencing it in a completely new way, and I am so honoured to get to do my OT levels here.
Isn’t that something? Isn’t it inspirational, the way OT 3 has helped Louisa.
And if her name seems familiar, you may remember her as Louisa Hodkin, daughter of Peter Hodkin, Scientology’s chief lawyer in the UK, who fought for years to get Scientology official status as a “place of worship” so “religious” weddings could be held there. And once the Supreme Court made that ruling, the very first wedding united Louisa and Alessandro Calcioli — who happened to be Neil Gaiman’s nephew. We certainly remember that day ten years ago.
It was one of Louisa’s former colleagues, Alex Barnes-Ross, who spotted this testimonial and brought it to our attention, pointing out that once again it highlights how hypocritical Scientologists are about OT 3 in particular. Here’s what Alex told us…
After the Supreme Court ruling, Scientology enlisted (and paid for) an expensive PR expert and sent Louisa and Ale on a press tour. In an interview with BBC Newsnight when asked about the Xenu story, they both chuckled and flat-out denied it formed any part of Scientology’s teachings.
Well, now Louisa has passed through the ‘Wall Of Fire’ and attested to OT 3, she knows that it is, in fact, an integral part of Scientology’s scripture. After she denied its existence in front of the world’s media, I can only imagine what she thought when she first laid eyes upon Hubbard’s sacred scribbles that confirm she had been lied to.
Her next job as a Scientologist is to communicate telepathically with the thousands Body Thetans that have infested her body in a desperate bid to expel them.. and yet she claims OT 3 left her with “complete freedom to flow sane thoughts.”
When I worked with her at London Org, she was an approachable, friendly face and certainly seemed to be mentally sound. Now, I’m not so sure…
You certainly have a point there, Apostate Alex.
Also, it’s so painful watching TV reporters ask these questions so badly. In the OT 3 story. L. Ron Hubbard did not claim that the human race began here on Earth 75 million years ago after being brought here in spaceships, but merely that the body thetans that today infest the human race — which evolved later on the planet — were brought here then by Xenu in his dastardly plan. (Before humans evolved, the body thetans infested things like clams.)
And now Louisa has been brought in on that secret. Does she dare tell Ale? Does he have the fucking rank?

South Park's Trapped in the Closet did the Xenu story quite well. Louisa Calcioli told the cover story in the past and now knows the very bad Science Fiction story behind all of $cientology. Will that change her opinion of $cientology? Very probably not. She exhibits all of the signs or a well programmed clam. Louisa didn't give a shout out to Hubbard or Miscavige, but that might have been just some editing by her staff. She wrote out all of the platitudes that seem to inhibit all $cieno 'success stories'. But it didn't make me want to sign up or travel higher on the bridge.
The BBC had wonderful snark built into that story. Saint Tom Cruise and the Right Reverend John Travolta... giggle. I'll let everyone else fight out the religion versus cult thing. $cientology is a desert topping and a floor wax. And an equal opportunity abuser of everything in life. I loved Mark Hedley's appearance, he gave great testimony and put the scam right into $camatology.
Louisa has been replaced by Co$ victim formerly known as Louisa. If she ever was friendly and approachable, she is now faking it. She is faking it to everyone, including herself.
