In May, former London Scientology staffer Alexander “Apostate Alex” Barnes-Ross introduced himself to the Underground Bunker community. Since then, he’s been keeping a close eye on Scientology’s moves in Great Britain, and we told you that recently he confirmed that the annual IAS gala would be returning to England for the first time since 2019, and with it Scientology’s reclusive leader, David Miscavige. The event is scheduled for the weekend of November 3 to 5, and will take place in a large tent on the grounds of Saint Hill Manor, Scientology’s UK headquarters in East Grinstead.
Apostate Alex has a wonderful plan. I expect that the local council will be safe pointed enough to try to put the protest march off. The 5th is Guy Fawkes Day, an excellent coincidence, I am sure. If enough people sign up, one poor local pub will not be able to handle the marchers, but I bet there are other food choices about. Getting in and out and will be a pain, but Alex and his crew seem up to the job. I do love a good protest, and this is a great way to welcome Miscavige back to the UK. Please, oh please, someone get a picture of Tom Cruise there! It will be so much fun to make all those tabloids who 'speculated' that TC is 'leaving the CO$.
The pubs were friendly, in my day. We got an ovation, on one occasion, back when we were four or a few more. That warmed the old suppressive heart.
One can always march in town from the... From the old bookshop? No, not any more...
It might be a bit far from G&G vitamin-overdoses-R-us to Stain Heck, but they are certainly among the nerve centres of the criminal organisation known as the "church" of $cientology in and around East Grinstead.
And good luck to the protesters. They know that they need the local police to be present whenever the protest is close to Stain Heck - otherwise the criminal organisation known as the “church “ of $cientology will be tempted to try anything to get protesters disturbed (pressing them into the road by “planting” plants across the road from the gate - on the grounds belonging to a sports club, nothing to do with Co$ - etc ad nausea
I’m sorry to see that Mark Isham is on the list of performers. He is very talented. One of the few music artists left in Scientology who are. I am in full support of the protestors. If Alex has a place to donate to their march I will contribute.

Agree. Excellent composer and trumpeter. *Sigh*
Talent investing in the destructive, fraudulent cult of Scientology will eventually come to no good end.
Indeed. Frolicing in shit tends to make one chronically shitty...
James Barbour, convicted child molester.
I do not recognize that name. I’m curious.
If I went, my protest sign would say:
LET YOUR PEOPLE:
DEFINE XENU
DEFINE BODY-THETANS
YOU INHUMANE NINNIES!
