I think the most important point that Claire made was that Scientology actively discourages members from reporting crimes to the police in situations where the perpetrator and the victim are both Scientologists, requiring the matter to be handled “in house”. And the measures that Scientology will take against victims who do go to the police in violation of that practice. It gives the jury an explanation for the delay.

So sorry I missed being there, Claire. Sounds like you helped everyone, as usual. Thank you very, very much! 🌹

Kudos, Claire. It's been decades since I've been involved in any of that (thank Goodness) but yours was a very clear and straightforward explanation of perhaps the most convoluted cult there ever was. I found myself laughing that I bought some of that BS some fifty years ago--kids! Good summary as usual, Tony.

Hi Tony! I don't know if you'll see this in time or if you even have time to answer. I was thinking of driving up to LA to attend the trial tomorrow, Thursday. Are there any seats available to the public? If so, is there a line? And, what time should I get there. I know you are busy so if you can't answer, I totally get it! Or, if anyone else knows the procedure, can you please let me know? THANKS to you Tony for all your hard work, it's amazing how much typing you are doing and I know we all appreciate you!!! Take care, Cathy

I disagree, Tony. It would not have been wonderful for Claire Headley to be testifying for hours about Scientology. The jury needs it kept very short and sweet.

I get your point but Claire is so knowledgeable that we want to take the computer chip out of her brain and have it marked as an exhibit. We want the truth exposed abt this organization that calls itself a church.

And I understand, but the more information they have, the more swamped the jury is. We'll hope that someday the malevolent octopus that is Scientology will face trial for its crimes, but let's first hope that Masterson gets convicted of rape.

Agreed. I wonder if they were able to follow her, as brief as her testimony was. It was technical.

Yes, it was a lot for the uninitiated to take in.
