Just my mind going into overdrive here, but with the Haggis trial going on, isn’t it kind of a bad time for scientology to be so up,front about how, they attempt to destroy people?

Yes. It's been a bad time ever since the rise of the Internet, which has made it so difficult for them to get away with such things.

However, attempting to destroy perceived enemies was baked into Scientology doctrine by L Ron Hubbard decades ago, when they could get away with such things (and often did).

Their problem is that, when Ron died, they decided his words were eternal truth, and go on trying to make them work. They can't he;p themselves.

Lots of social media activity. In the week that Twitter broke verification. A parody account (Ahemm!) could have a lot of fun with that.

They do a good job of drawing attention to themselves.

I’m honestly still surprised Danny’s team didn’t call any witnesses. I don’t really understand the strategy. A lawyer youtuber who attended said he thought the jury was going to convict Danny based on their body language.

Which YouTube lawyer is this? I'm wondering if it's one of the lawyer's that followed the Depp vs Heard trial too.

DUI guy. He was in court for depp vs heard. He had a video yesterday which was fascinating because he focused mostly on the jury. He mentioned that the new juror attempted to hide her excitement for being a juror (and not an alternate) and how that doesn’t look good for Danny. It’s an interesting perspective.

Ah yes, it is him! Thanks.

Cohen's summation will have to be of "Clarence Darrow' quality to get notice from the jury. I don't see that level of lawyering in him. Still, he only has to get the jury to find one count not guilty and Rapey goes on to making more Vodka Cosbys.

Nice job Tony, and nice job Judge Olemedo. Isn't it fun to herd cats?

So even if DM is found not guilty to one of the charges, he avoids jail time?

Loved the episode with Leah, thanks to both of you for that. I truly can’t imagine not getting a conviction, but we never know. So much bad press for Scientology, here’s hoping it gets the attention of an attorney who is willing to pursue it and more people who are willing to file charges!

Can someone tell me why no one was charged with the Lisa McPherson death. That was just terrible that she just died and nothing was done. Perhaps Leah could start a tweet to get the ball rolling on that subject. In my opinion I think Mr. Idiot David should get put in the slammer and let a few big guys do the same to him to see how he would like it.
