I have a legal question, how can a 12 year old (or anyone under 18) sign a billion year contract and it is legal? 18 is the legal age to make decions for oneself. To me, these are non-issues and the judge should award the plaintiff.....am I looking at this too logically/legally?

Nerd brain and (ugh) experience of similar phone calls gave me that sort of read on it, and if I'm anywhere near the mark the jury won't be able to unhear that ever. Aaaaaaand secondly, it wouldn't be more colorful, per se, but I can totally picture Cohen showing up in full pilgrim cosplay. Glorious (restrained) Puritan finery. That would be delightful.
Did anyone notice the comments from 'Brenda Frick' under 'No Verdict After Second Day' post? It seems odd especially among the supporters for the victims in this case.
This makes me sick!! A serial crime is one that is repetitive — one that is committed by a habitual offender who usually commits the same type of crime and in the same manner. There has to be a law this crime falls under to show the word “serial” as it does for murder or rape!!! Than there is no statue of limitation .. as the reason for the Masterson trial to be tried..
Regarding the use of “Scientology Arbitration” Start from the very first fact !! .. not the story , not the “religion” “not even their parent’s giving them away” ...just the “fact” that they where children when they signed this..
A child under the age of 18 is considered a minor and can only sign a contract if it is essential items. Essential goods include medicines, food and medical services. Otherwise, the minor child must have the consent of a parent or guardian to the contract for it to be legally binding.
Parents are held responsible because they have a duty to educate and supervise their minor children. So, if their minor child (a child under 18) the law says that the parents have not met their duty. The harm would not have occurred if the child had been properly supervised and educated.
Under the law, children in the United States are fully formed human beings with the same basic constitutional rights that adults enjoy. Like every other citizen, children have the right to due process under the law and the right to counsel.
