Tony, I'm glued. I spent my day between fall yard work and refreshing your page. On work days I come home and devote a couple hours to reading everything you've posted. This trial has been fascinating, gut-wrenching, and long overdue. The fallout is sure to be a PR nightmare for Scientology, but only slightly less worrisome than the potential for further legal troubles looming on the horizon. Absolutely excellent reporting!

How is Luke Watson not a witness in this case? He was at all pivotal events. He could simply confirm the drinks, hot tub stuff and so on. I can understand how he would be a reluctant witness, but for heaven's sake he should be there to verify some of the facts. Is he a Scientologist? Where is he now? Any info on that?

Luke is a Scientologist, and my sense is that Mueller is reluctant to call anyone to the stand who is likely to lie. (See Shaun Fabos for the reason why.)

Your detailed reporting is appreciated. I am new to the whole subject of scientology, and I am just stunned.

Danny could have a new TR’s drill named after him:

TR 40-DonkeyPunch: combine soporific drugs with Tone 40 commands for Sexual Assault.

Commands: “Take off your clothes” “Get in the shower”, anything similar.

Position: (ok I’ll stop here but if you’ve ever seen the scientology “TRs” bulletins you know exactly what I’m talking about)

Yes! And "Drink now, now, now!"

Even though you may get tired of hearing this, thanks again Tony for all your hard work on this trial (and for your daily articles over many years). I know you hear that appreciation all the time from many of us, but it just feels right to keep saying it. Absolutely amazing work!

The 1-2am poster: Tony you kick ass! I have followed you intensely & all the comments. I tried to post for 2 hours, each time it got erased. Finally I called Missionary Kid, who gave me a very helpful tip. Thanks for all you are doing!

I'll bet they hate having you & other media in the courtroom. For years the media just didn't care/didn't want to risk getting sued. Anonymous changed that in 2008. But this is fantastic....and yes! You are the man. 🌹👍💜🏅⛩️

The scales of justice is not going Danny's way. I don't see the defense coming close to winning.

Every guy knows when a woman says no that's it, going past that is rape. I couldn't count how many times she said no to him.

The women each have done an excellent job of communicating what happened. I agree with Tony... today's details were

Amazing.

If I had been interviewed by SA police specialist, Det. Reyes (Katrina, I think?), I would be thinking she was sketchy, too. I'd be writing a report to her superiors pronto! It started me thinking... maybe she was in you-know-who's pocket? To make this "go away".

You're not the only one who wondered what that was all about. It's very hard to judge without hearing her tone but the testimony about being asked about almonds after a long, tear-filled interview was odd. Was Reyes attempting to engage in chat outside the scope of her case in an effort to make JD2 feel more at ease? On a human level, I can see that. I can envision a detective utilizing that skill, and not necessarily for nefarious reasons.

I can understand JD2 having the impression that something was not quite right with the investigation due to paranoia, and rightfully so. I'm sure it was hard to know who to trust at that time.

I will say I don't imagine "almonds" was the only reason for that call. If it happened right after an interview, it may have been to clarity something. We're not even getting one side of that story. We're getting one detail.

Thank you Tony! Look forward to your excellent summary each day. Very surprised Chynna and Billy are tarnishing their wholesome reputation by showing up in support of Bijou/Danny. Not wise, but I guess because they are family they feel obliged ?? You rock, thank you for all you do!!

Horrifying

Thanks for the report. What with all the drilling into exactly who said what to whom and when by the defense, hopefully there will be a little time to drill into the various detectives and investigations on the side of the police... And what was that about missing files?!?

After all this, Bijou’s got to get out of this relationship, right?

I agree!

It's Bijou Phillips. She's an actress.

I know, it's a unique name I always read it as Bi-you.... I can only imagine her thinking wow I've experienced these things these girls are testifying about.. Also interesting about Chynna (also unique name) being a evangelical Christian. What???

Bijou comes from French meaning jewel, rare gem. I feel bad for her. She comes from an abusive home environment. She doesn't know anything different.

Oh I feel bad for her too. It's just awful. Thanks for name meaning. I guess I could have googled it
