See, now if Tony had gotten into Scientology and gotten up the Bridge to OT VIII, he would be able to read the jury's minds and tell us what the outcome will be. Just jump ahead in time, easy, no?
In thinking back over the testimony, I was struck when one of the Jane Does testified that Masterson would grab her breast or put his hand down her pants in front of his mother. Mother would laugh (what would you do?), The victim testified that this creepy, quirky behavior became commonplace over time.
What was THAT about? Just another clue in the mindset of this obviously disturbed defendant ......
I don't recall the day, I only recall that it was the unfortunate victim who lived with him for 6 years. It was vivid because I put myself in that situation mentally, and though it was like a nightmare to me--I felt the humiliation she must have suffered repeatedly at his mercy.
When one thinks about this, I think it is absolutely amazing that twelve people can ever fully agree about anything. Just one assh___, one SP, or one evil being can kill this prosecution when he or she brings about a hung jury. I struggle with trying to understand how our justice system is fair, correct, or affordable. We surely need to advocate for its reinvention. Thanks, Tony.
Thanks for the summary Tony. Ugh, no verdict yet. Makes me wonder if the lack of decision could be due to not enough evidence since the rapes occurred so long ago. For example, the letter Leah posted from JD1’s mom to Miscavige was great but my understanding it could not be submitted as evidence (and I’m not clear why that is). Anyway, I’m concerned that the jury’s weekend break could open them to witness tampering and/or being swayed by various influences. I don’t trust the cult at all and have no doubt they will try to get to the jury somehow.
I am here Tony! I come bearing intel... um you met me in court and I said I can't talk to you in front of Aaaaaaaaaron anyways i have a story to tell you so contact me?

That’s JD3. She testified first I think.
Thanks.
So, what happens if the jury is unanimous on 2 of the Jane Does but cannot agree on the 3rd. Is it still a hung jury?
It would be hung only on that third count. We only need two guilty verdicts for Rapey to see time in prison.
Thank you!
Not for nothing have I listened to hundreds of episodes of the LegalAF podcast and Undisclosed :)
No, no...no! This is *not* "going to turn out like the last one".
Have a good weekend and again...thank you, Tony! Yes....I feel for the women. 🌹
