Danny Masterson moved from LA jail to state prison in Kern County today

By now you’ve probably seen the mugshot, first posted by TMZ, which indicates that Danny Masterson was moved this morning from Men’s Central Jail in downtown Los Angeles to North Kern State Prison.

According to a California prison spokeswoman, he’ll be held there temporarily, at the prison facility in Delano, a couple of hours north of Los Angeles, as the state prison system decides what to do with him.

Masterson was convicted on May 31 of two counts of forcible rape, and sentenced on September 7 to 30 years to life in prison.

He’s appealing his conviction, and we expect that his attorneys will soon be filing a brief that describes their arguments for the appeal
