On November 2, we put in our “morning break” report at the Danny Masterson trial that we were excited to see that Danny’s wife Bijou Phillips had arrived to court that morning with her half-sister, Chynna Phillips Baldwin, 54.
Chynna is ashamed of herself for not standing up to the men in those three incidents. She cites her low self-esteem for not speaking up. It might seem like a display of empathy and compassion for the Jane Does in this case, but it's not. She's engaging in classic victim-blaming.
It may have been 'unconscious' on her part. She might say that she's taking responsibility for her actions - or lack of action. She's expressing shame and disappointment with herself. But she's sharing Rape Myth #1: that it's ALWAYS the woman's fault.
I know, it's endlessly infuriating. I'm a woman. You get the same attitude about people who've been victimized by cults, con artists, abusers - they're suckers, "I'd never get sucked into a cult, I'd never fall for a scam, I'd never put up with abuse, why did she stay?" and on and on. It's just so much easier to go with the stereotype black and white thinking, than to put yourself out there to actually look at the complexity of these issues. Sigh. Don't get me started.
I wondered how long it would be until she pulled this. No longer listed in her recent uploads, which is how I watched it earlier today. Now her latest is from 7 days ago.

I’m sorry, what? “Strong island” type? Does she mean the “strong silent” type? I’ve never heard of a strong island type before...
It's a reference to being from Long Island.
Ohhh thanks. Either way, not a good look.
I think that isa take on Long island since thats where he is from. And imo "macho" is how I would translate it in an 80s way.

The light is cracking through. Dude's name was Dan? Talk about “Holy Spirit, activate!”
Holy fucking shit. Talk about over sharer!
Chynna Baldwin might be a good witness? With Chynna and Jane Doe 4, the list of victims is growing. I wonder when 'Dan' learned to make a Vodka Cosby?

Tony should interview Jennifer the ex best friend.
I couldn't help but start singing Hold on lyrics:
Until then, baby,
are you going to let 'em hold you down and make you cry?
Don't you know? Don't you know, things can change
Things'll go your way
If you Hold On for one more day
Can you Hold On for one more day?
