On the irony scale of 1-10, how ironic is it that Cohen repeatedly surreptitiously tried to have Tony ejected from the courtroom then used an interview he did to try to get the case dismissed?

“As for his asking for more time, she's saying this court date was known since December 8.” Yes! Yes! Yes! I do hope the retrial goes well.

Phillip Cohen is a genius at obfuscating reality. Look it up--

He is, indeed! I've never seen such prevarications! Spinmaster extraordinaire!

Looked it up and that is a perfect analogy of Cohen's tactics.

The DA needs to make ready for more of the same.

They need to duck and weave as they use a surprise course of action contrary to such flamboyance, while taking everything back to the truth.

They must do this at every turn with the judge whenever they spot Cohen’s eloquent but purposeful intent to misrepresent and omit facts as he adds suggestions to sway opinion.

And for sure the jury understands that Cohens “degree of guilty “ thing is NOT evidence

True! Also, so much “other” embellishment hid the core of the matter--did Masterson have non-consensual sex with the women? The hell with “she was excited to meet him,” or “she was drunk,” “she couldn’t remember everything precisely,” or “she invited him into her home.” These are not excuses for rape. Did. He. Force. Himself. On. Them? At any time? Yes or no?

It seems Cohen mesmerized the jury in his summary with imagined visual scenarios, not factual but what ifs. The visual suggestions were easy to follow. Hopefully the D.A. will jump on other such attempts quickly so the judge and jury learn what Cohen is doing..

Excellent commentary, as always, Tony. I am so relieved that Danny will, at the very least, have to keep stressing about the possibility of going to jail. No one is more deserving of a life in chains than this monster who hurt so many women, like they were garbage. Hang in there, Jane does. WE BELIEVE IN YOU.

Finally, justice will be served.

Hopefully the D.A. can convince the judge how necessary it is to include Scientology ''Church' information about the billion-year contracts, training methodology including Tone 40 which involves "talking in a forceful enough voice so that the target knows you mean business", suppressive person declaration and treatment outside the 'church' with examples of what the victims have had to endure.
