In court on Monday, Deputy DA Reinhold Mueller described to Judge Charlaine Olmedo one of the witnesses the prosecution plans to call in Danny Masterson's criminal rape trial, which starts Tuesday. Masterson is accused of forcibly raping three women between 2001 and 2003, and if he's convicted of all three counts faces 45 years to life in prison.
So, who exactly is stating that Ms Paris cannot make statements regarding the doctrines and practices of $cientology. Defendant David "he is NOT insane!" Miscavige, who has not (at least not until recebntly) been served in this lawsuit? Or an arbitrary legal representative?
Surely, it is only defendant Miscavige himself who can make statements with authority about $cientology, and he should submit those statements directly (rather than various lawyers submitting random statements declaring that others have made incorrect statements). Oh, and be ready to be cross examined by the plaintiffs :-)
All these trials will have to compete with Harvey Weinstein's trial that starts around the same time. The tabloids will have to put out a special edition to keep track of all of these developments.
