So strange, never any names that are familiar to me.

Except Dan Auerbach, who was a technician for Hubbard at one of his hiding places. Once he visited the Gold Base and told us to gold-plate the shielding system for the Music Studio. He never came back, and nothing was in writing, so I felt safe ignoring that dumb idea.

And Bill Tucker. May not be the same guy, but one of my PCs in the 70s had a withered arm. In the photo one of his arms is hidden by the trophy. I wonder, is he is still hoping Scientology will fix it?

You can sort of understand the US big donors, that can use the amounts to save on their taxes. Why give it to the government when Dave will spend it just as wisely. But I don't think Japan and France allow tax deductions for donations. Do they? Or is it just yet another example of the old adage about a fool and his money?

Dan Auerbach died several years ago. So it might be his wife Cassandra Auerbach. I got Dan into Scientology. He was a very skilled electrical engineer. What a waste. I’m sorry to say I got him into Scientology in 1968. Then he joined the Sea Org. He was Hubbards personal audio recordist and tape archivist. .

Thanks. Wish Jon Horwich would be interviewed someday.

Geoff, have you thought of interviewing some of the bigger cheeses, boy, it'd be great if someone could get Jon Horwich warmed up.

Geoff, do you know anything about Pat Broeker, or know of anyone who knew of Pat on Pat's rise.

In terms of really big advances in filling out the Hubbard history, someday, someone who is an ally of Pat's just might get Pat warmed up and talking before Pat croaks.

I wish someone who was an ally of Jon H would get him talking.

Maybe Jay Hurwitz might be able to get Jon Horwich to reminisce some day.

There are some huge big cheeses in Scientology's history, which other former ally similar "big cheeses I hope can lure some into talking a little history.

Chuck, I did not know Pat. I was friendly with Jon Horwich because he was into music. So Jon is still alive? I’d love to interview Diana Hubbard. And Arthur Hubbard and I were friendly.

I just sent you Jon Horwich's contact info via your Website.

Janis Grady (or email me) has Jon's contact info. I'll find your email and email what I know.

Janis Gillham Grady knows everyone, all the major players, and how to reach them.

Like you, she's not been able to reach Pat, but talked with his relatives she said once.

Pat and Ray Mithoff I truly wish could somehow be allowed to speak freely before they pass.

I wish also, I'm "suppressively reasonable" I concluded in my RPF auditing, I think all of LRH's archives writings and tapes ought just be made public, and that would provide researchers to make even more deeper accurate conclusions about him and his flaws.

Ray was there at the bitter end final two weeks, and he knows LRH's final self case supervision actions which Ray then audited on LRH, and the final details would be vital to see LRH's views about himself in the end.

There is still potential history to dig up and reveal, I'm not a quitter on hoping the people who know these important figures in LRH's final history, get contacted and encouraged to tell what they firsthand witnessed.

In the UK, donations to charities are tax-deductible, but Scientology was refused charitable status back in 1999.

The CofS operate a tax avoidance scheme, through Australia, so they don't pay tax on income, but there's no benefit to donors.

Perhaps, now that Dave's business model seems to be pivoting to straight donations, that's going to become more of an issue, here.

I remember Bill Tucker too, he was pretty much a solid humble smart person, and shame he's forwarding so much money to official Scientology, rather than a more humanity benefiting group.

Dan Auerbach, boy, he's relevant to Hubbard history, and Int Base history, declared SP while at Gilman, and intertwined with the rules about "leaving" Int Base, gone through his penalties amends, donating now this massive amount in total (and he's deceased per other comment, so it's Cass and family continuing the donating).

Being a public Scientologists is dreadful, being staff in Missions, least worse, being staff in orgs more worse, being staff in Sea Org horribly worse and likely the quickest way to be kicked out, being in upper ranks Int Base a dismal worst for most years.

LRH's advices for ASI were really very kind overall, I slipped up the hierarchy to ASI, so from 1992 to 1995 I was ASI staff, you get the most perks of all the staff echelons there, horrible schedule is all. Good seating at events, slight amount of celeb interaction as the lower celebs come do ASI mini events. Nice clothes, cars, berthing, pay. I always felt ALL the harder working Int Base staffers deserved the perks of the ASI staff.

Really no one benefits in this Hubbard cult bureaucracy though, just quit it, get over to a real world job and society framework. Really only rich Scientologists have "normal" lives with Scientology not pestering them to death.

Xenu's body-thetans infesting all humans is simply not humanity's problem, and thus really OT 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 are not even a solution for this false problem. It's snipe hunting.

Chuck,

I know Dan’s story very well. Once he got in good standing again I would visit him and Cassandra. They had one son.

We would play music together, me on guitar him on mandolin. He loved traditional music of all types. I inherited his huge song book when he died. At the time I was under the radar.

Dan single-handedly restored all Hubbards taped lectures. He was a genius when came to audio electronics. We were close friends and I miss him.

The picture with the younger kids. That gets me every time. I hope they haven't put their young ones through the Purif yet, it's dangerous even for adults.

I'm nauseous thinking about how much that money could do in the world rather than in the pockets of a cult.

Notice how many of the high flyers have $cieno jobs such as auditor or OT committee something or other. I guess that results in a very well programmed Clam. As intended.

I did not recognize any of those people. Goes to show that people either leave Scientology or decide enough is enough. There should be a sci-fi movie produced called THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING CULT. Actually it’s not a Sci-fi movie it’s a documentary.

I just want to cry when I see so much money being wasted on buldings and legal matters. I intend these people wake up when they read the Underground Bunker and see the many ex-Scientologists helping people with the truth and escape.
