Gee whiz Batman, what could the grand jury be investigating? Covering up rapes?? Financial crimes?? Human trafficking? Bilking old folks out of money and then buying them ice cream? You can bet some OSA goon is trying to get info on that. And that Dave Miscavige will not sleep well tonight.
I really think that introducing the $cieno mindset later in the trial is not a good idea. I would think that prepping the jury to it should be done earlier in the trial. But what do I know?
Longtime Underground Bunker contributor TX Lawyer (who is indeed a lawyer from Texas who frequently helps us understand complex Scientology jurisprudence matters) has left an excellent comment this morning at the Bunker (tonyortega.org). I thought I'd share it here.
"Perhaps instead of admonishing the free press for reporting what the overly-loud and careless attorney said from all the way across the courtroom, the judge should consider admonishing the overly-loud and careless attorney for disclosing the thing the judge didn't want disclosed."
And added that it's "somewhere between inappropriate and outright unconstitutional to take adverse action against a reporter for reporting what he observes in a public courtroom."
Another point TX Lawyer has just noted is how closely Danny Masterson's defence team must be watching Tony's reporting for them to have reacted as quickly as they did to yesterday's story.
I went to a bar Association dinner after watching your video report last night and confirmed what I thought was true before I said anything.
Statewide, all Judges from the city level to the Supreme Court level have a white noise machine at the bench which they turn on when attorneys approach the bench. I’m actually quite surprised, given the type of cases Judge Olmedo covers that she doesn’t have one at her bench. It seems like a very practical precaution on the Court’s side to ensure sidebars are not overheard. Had she done anything but reprimand you, she would have had to explain why precautions weren’t taken to ensure sidebars weren’t overheard.

Sending 💛 Zemooo!
Right back at you Ann. Enjoy your day.
Thank you Tony. Courts, Judges etc.,who knows why they do what they do?!
I do not like the Judge giving you what for though! Perhaps she is getting frustrated with the whole crowd of Scientology creeps in the court & case.
Whatever Tony is the Only One I trust to report on Anything when it comes to Scientology or anything else for that matter & Be Factual & True. 💝😘
