I remember when I served on a jury in Louisville about 10 or so years ago. I’m curious as to how the jury was dressed today. We pretty much knew we were going to have a decision the evening before. We all kicked up our attire that day and went to lunch before handing in the verdict.
I didn’t realize Tony didn’t live in LA. When he said he would have to change his flight again to go home, I realized he doesn’t. I am game for a go fund me and will contribute. Great idea !!
When they took their first break after only an hour and twenty minutes, I felt strongly they had a verdict. Now they come back and ask to break for lunch. What does everyone think? Do they have a verdict ?
I think you’re right. I think Cohen managed to get a few traditionalist holdouts on that jury and it’s going to be hung. That’s what worries me. It would be hell for the Janes to go through this again and they may not want to do it and say Nevermind. That would tickle Scientology to no end.
Not that I know anything about the process but I too think there are holdouts. Hopefully only about one of the Jane Does. Just based off dumb intuition I’d guess he’ll be found guilty of one or two counts and in sentencing get a slap on the wrist. I hope I’m wrong. And I hope also that Hollywood never again gives him the time of day.

I think they are arguing about collusion of the Janes, when really, they should be talking about obstruction of justice charges against ‘The Church Of Scientology’ for one charge... Then there’s the child trafficking. And adult trafficking, if that’s what they call it. These ‘contracts’ they make are impossible to fulfill.
I’ve thought of doing a calendar of my ‘sartorial Splendors’ illustrations of Cohen’s getups through this trial as a fundraiser for sexual assault. I just don’t know if I can take on such a big project. It’s definitely an opportunity for someone in the LA sexual assault advocates and prevention services.

The only thing I love about this jury taking so long is that Danny Masterson has to be very uncomfortable !
