I didn’t know Kirstie all that well, I was just wanting to point out the lack of respect Scientology has for its own members, including public Scientologists who would want to show their respects.

Good article, Sunny. I remember when a good friend an SO member died (of cancer) I went to her service at CC Int. Her kids an friends were there but not one SO member was there. I aske why are the SO members she worked with not here? I thought it was heartless that they would not come to say goodbye. I was told, well they have their stats to get up by Thurs before 2:00 etc. I thought that was heartless.

One other reason why the church may be trying to keep Kirstie's death under wraps is that she was OT VIII and it is out PR for OT's to die. When hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, an OT VIII friend I had who lived there was stranded an needed help. I got word out on a Scn internet site to send donations to help him an I got attacked b other Scns for it. Seems we aren't supposed to portray an OT VIII as needing help or as down and out. He turned me into the Ship for my "overt" and even the Ship MAA called me. It was OUT PR for an OT VIII to nee help and they said we don't publicize it. The idea being that OT VIII's are Gods who can glow things right.

Everyone but Niblet is disposable in the $cienoverse. I surprised that no actual 'funeral service' is open to the Clams. I guess Kristie didn't leave enough money to the ClamsScam. I hope her children can escape now.

Miscabige is a pos! yep, I had to spell it with scab in his name. I despise what scientology did to that beautiful and talented woman. To not have the very best memorial for the most outspoken scientologist there was, is just unforgivable. Sure I’m angry about the way she treated Leah and others who defected from the cult. The take away here is the way David Miscavige and COS treat its billion year contracted Sea Org members and its parishioners. I wonder what kind of donor Kristie was? As I digress, does anyone know if her children are active in COS?

SCN's and SO members do not like death. It is proof that we are not immortal, we are subject to the cycle of birth and death as everyone else, wogs' etc. I recall being on staff and frequently when someone died, especially a staff member the church would try to hide the fact. You certainly were not encouraged to talk about the person's passing except in session if you HAD to have one. Apparently even Yvonne Jentzsch's illness and death were covered up and Yvonne basically formed CC LA (INT) and put it on the map. She was CC's beloved leader. This is just one of the things you learn as a staff member, you don't spread entheta (bad news) and you don't talk about people dying.
