I am not one of many words in moments like this….

Warrior helped me so much with understanding those early years of the childcare and the Sea Org. We both cane originally from the Austin Org, though I was just an infant. He knew me at the Austin Org in the early 70’s and then at the Melrose in LA, where the Sea Org children were “cared for” under horrific conditions.

Warrior, with a huge heart…. You will be missed.

But Warrior, Legend of the OG, rest in peace, my friend.

I lived at the cadet org on Melrose and the earlier locations. My wife was a nanny there. We had 3 kids and she was 8 1/2 pregnant when while I was working she and the kids were evicted to the sidewalk.

My C.O. wanted me to leave her.

I left a few hours later. Cadet org was a ongoing nightmare.

Because you're both familiar with that side, do either of you know what this PAC Base Order 18 is and why (word clearing) it would have supposedly taken care of all his concerns (read: told him he was wrong to have them)?

Sorry to see Mark go. He was such an asset and wealth of information. The letter from Hubbard was a typical lie regarding his children.

“I’ve been experiencing the situation with my children for many years and things have turned out fine.”

Hubbards Children: Diana is still a Seaborg brainwashed automaton working at Hemet, Arthur ran off to be a fine artist and stayed away from the Scientology organizations to this day and Quentin committed suicide or was offed because he was gay.

Kids raised in Scientology don’t very often turn out fine. They need guidance and therapy.

Hubbard used children as slaves.

Mark was a true Warrior. His thoughtful patience and attention to detail from his “Miss X” posts on will be of great help to the forensic accountants who will ultimately be tasked with untangling Scientology financial shenanigans. He always posted with kindness and an eye toward helping someone else.

This one breaks my heart. Mark was a dear friend to me both in and out of scientology. When I stuck my nose out after years of hiding in 2011, and was attacked from all sides at ESMB by people who should have known better saying my story was a lie, Mark immediately and fiercely came publicly to my defense.

He and Ed Berwick always stood up for me and respected my choice to go back to the sidelines as well.

Mark continued to email and call me. Yesterday I thought “I wonder how Mark is, I need to call him, it’s been too long.”

Life is short. Don’t neglect your friendships. He was a true friend to me and I loved him dearly. My deepest condolences to his family.

Mark was incredibly helpful, I'd call him, one of the few people who I'd ever even call. He was such a calm reassuring person, and knew so many details of PAC/WUS history, and knew the ropes for how things went in the "critics" world, if one spoke out and posted history that OSA tried to derail.

His knowledge of music and musicians, made me feel how life would have been so much better had he never been drawn into Scientology. (So many ex's who've spoken out were extremely talented artists.)

But that he did get drawn in, and then been such a good person to so many people who quit, sharing all he knew, and his long list of people he thanks in the article, that goes for so many of us who owe the older ex's and smart outsider critics so much thanks for their even offering their smarter views on things. There are a lot of ex's and outsiders to thank, all who've gotten interested in exposing the Scientology con.

He did a lot of good, Mark did. I hope his files get to Professor Kent's archives.

My sincere condolences to the family, and to those who loved him. It is obvious that he was someone wonderful.

The feeling of belonging to a group is reinforced by the good people who make it up, although many end up disillusioned with what they believed to be correct.

No more nonsense about ridiculous camouflages; I can't compete with the octopus!

If you look at the photo of that great man, even with the impressive mustache, it reflects great kindness in his expression, confirmed by all the comments.

Throughout my life, I avoided people with evil, and I only knew hatred, for the first time, for Scientologists... But I am learning many things in this forum, which help me change my approach and my attitude, a little.
