Regarding the defense bringing in Claire's father to counter her expert testimony ...did it even occur to the defense that this will show the perfect example of disconnection and why speaking out is a real fear? I know they think this is clever and will throw Claire off her game, but actually I think it will turn into another foot bullet. And, oh ya, Claire will not be thrown off in the least.
He’ll get an earful of reality in that courtroom. But the co$ will have thoroughly coached him on what to say, per the book--all pat answers and predictability. I bet Claire would be able to write, word for word, ahead of time, what he will be coached to say. I also think co$ will try to put the focus on a trumped-up father vs daughter battle to confuse the jury. If defense brings him to the stand. Defense didn’t bring in any of theirs last time.
Right. I think this was just a tactic to rattle Claire, which will not be successful. I mean, how would it look when the DA asks him about disconnection policy and if he had any personal experience on this policy ...to his own daughter?

👆 THIS. They thought they were being cute and I think it'll blow up in their collective face.
Hardcore or just vindictive? Can’t make this stuff up.
Both😎

Ya think the “she’s an ungrateful daughter” tactic will work on a jury? This whole move screams manipulation, intimidation, and gaslighting.
Mickiewicz all over that dick move of calling Claires dad, yes?
No, not at all as a tactic. Definitely trying manipulation but Claire is smarter than that.
Not worried about Claire as much as about seeing justice served.
It would pull my heart strings to see my dad. Lord let justice be served! I pray the jurors are better than last time!
Ah, I just...continue to get "arrogant, unrepentant, entitled asshole" vibes from Danny...
I hope prosecutors will bring up the fact of Danny being able to ‘handle’ these women and them just do what he says at the time of the assaults
