Scientology's "truth" is what it wants the truth to be, not what it is.

So

1. Scientology snitch culture causes a mother to sneak in and take her son’s property and delete items without first even confirming what they are;

2. The mother uses scientology “tech” and lies to her son about what she’s done;

3. The staff members use the same lie tech to get the kid out of there and send a mentally ill child home alone:

4. Of course the staff member who lied to the child doesn’t follow through on his false assurances

5. Things go horribly wrong.

6. Coverup ensues.

This is scientology.

The civil court 'should' see this as very convincing evidence that the CO$ has conducted Defamation, Intentional inflection of emotional distress, economic torts and tortious interference. And Lron's mother dressed him funny. I see a slam dunk for Leah as deliberate lying is not a protected First Amendment right. Who does the CO$ think they are? An Orange Jesus??

I recall when this story as first reported they said he was looking for his mother, but turns out he was looking for Steve, the Scientologist who ghosted him after promising to help him restore files deleted from his device.

The boy spoke no English, yet was somehow incited by watching Leah’s show? Was it dubbed in Mandarin?

There's nothing here to show he ever watched her show at all, or had even heard of her.

As a never anything Scientology I’m horrified at what Leah Remini has been subjected to. As well as what they did to that boy. Leave it to an autistic child to see right through them and refuse classes. My thoughts are a bit scattered here, but reading this account of what really happened has really pissed me off. The obviously provable lie Scientology told about Leah, and the way they handle an autistic child off his meds is insane.

"...the accused’s mother and told her that the accused had possession of a novel containing pornographic and violent themes" -- sounds like "Mission Earth."

Also, for some reason I receive People magazine in the mail every week (I have never paid for it, and yet it keeps coming!), and while leafing through the latest issue, I noticed a full-page ad for "People Puzzler" with Leah Remini. I hope this means she'll get to continue to make the show.

I hope so too. She is such a talented actress and it is shameful that this organization, after taking her money and using her as a spokesperson for Scientology for so many years, can continue to do this to her.

"Arrangements were made for the accused’s mother to stay at the home of another student rather than go back to the premises in Fullers Road."

Thanks to Scientology's anti-psychology/psychiatry/medication stance, they saw no problem in leaving a teenager suffering with mental health disorders and other issues, in the middle of an uncontrolled outbreak alone in a new 'home' in a new country where almost no one spoke his native language. [And let's be real, she probably didn't move them to Australia to give her kid a new environment, but rather to make it easier to practice Scientology.]

They obviously didn't check him and the home for anything that could be a danger to him or try to get him any help (or 'solve' his reason for being upset right then). Instead, they protected the mother - who also saw no problem with this - because she was willing to practice Scientology whereas her son wouldn't.

She knew he had these mental health issues and was on the spectrum (which going to a new environment could actually aggravate things) and yet she abandoned her roles as parent and caregiver and did not work to get him help so she could instead spend her time studying Scientology.

If anyone is responsible for what this MINOR did it is the mother, aided and supported by the "church". We are in a time where medical science has progressed enough there are now treatments and therapeutics available that can reduce the occurrence of or prevent situations like this one and provide proper support to the kid.

I am so frustrated and angry at how much worse they have made others' physical and mental health in the name of stats; money; and the imagination and ego of a long-dead walking set of falsehoods.

If you're reading this CoS know that YOU have blood on your hands. I hope this increasing worldwide scrutiny of your BUSINESS leads to your downfall so that we can have a chance to save lives instead of lose them. </steps off soapbox>

Telling outright lies is just one way of describing the first amendment protected free speech of the criminal organisation known as the « church » of $cientology. Oh, and terrible person Leah is saying something we don’t like - fire her!!

That the opaque Church ignores its own responsibility and then blames Mrs. Leah is abject, but neither could an informative documentary, ever be held responsible for subsequent individual acts, contrary to the Law, and even less perpetrated by a sick young man, in a context that it was uncomfortable for him.
