Why is it that so many ponzi or ponzi-like schemes are run by $cientologists? I guess it just shows that financial markets don't respond to 'postulates'. Or voodoo or the entrails of a goat or Lron's simple scams.

Four hours to deliberate - and I thought financial crime cases were difficult to understand… Any indications of the criminal organisation known as the “church” of $cientology got a cut of the takings, other than Gentile’s normal donations?

These Boston donors live in a bubble and are delusional. Any one of us confronting them face to face with a few questions would destroy their fantasy. They would run away like little children. Scientology is an illness.

Here’s their opening statement.

“The world needs our help. The society is on a rapid decline. Scientology is the road out for every person. We need to reach people and introduce them to the miracles of Scientology. An Ideal Org is a facility that gives……….blah, blah, blah.”

I just checked GPB Capital’s latest FINRA registration dated May 20, 2024. It is 51 pages long to accommodate all the charges. Gentile has a lot going on in other states. I wonder if they will just all fold them into this or if they will choose to prosecute him separately.
