Once again we have Alex Barnes-Ross to thank after he sent over the photo you see above, our first image of Jenna Elfman actually emceeing last week’s Scientology IAS charity concert, which occurred on the final night of the big IAS three-day series of events at Saint Hill Manor in East Grinstead, England.
I got to the first Impact photo and saw the little kid and started tearing up. All those innocent kids who did nothing to deserve the childhood they are probably having... <sighs>
I was thinking, how could parents do that to their children. My other thought in looking at the totals given, what in the world are they thinking? How do they think their money helps anyone outside of Scientology????
I know, I saw them and that was my thought too. So sad to think about them growing up in such a life, and the grown ups, So sad to know what their donations are really doing and the propaganda they are being fed.
These seemingly “normal” people/families sucked into this destructive cult. NO Religion should be asking for your money. LRH was a drug addicted liar extorting money and exploiting human beings, No wise man, no god, no messiah.
I'm afraid I don't have the patience to count the chairs, but I will say this: I hope there weren't any overweight people at the event because the chairs in these rows (and around the banquet tables) were too close together. I think I counted 10 chairs around tables designed for 8 chairs at most.
Thanks to Alex for finding those pics. It's so sad that the money the whales are brainwashed to donate to this destructive cult. Imagine how many real causes they could actually donate to instead. I hope like Alex and Jeff have said that their protest will help at some people 'wake' up.
With so much attention on Cruise and Elfman, I was wondering if Miz Cabbage was at that event! One blurry photo ... sort of like a UFO. Was he actually there? Or was it just a weather balloon?
I’m late posting regarding Jenna Elfman. I could not resist the irony that her current claim to fame is as a regular on “Fear The Walking Dead”. And now she has a credit as the emcee for the walking dead of Scientology. Every member of the church must have seemed familiar to Jenna as she deals with flesh eating zombies on a regular basis.
I don't know with what joy these millionaires make their donations to this organization, nor why in the end they make them, with what real motivations, or if it is in non-public circumstances that condition them, we don't know.
It is evident that among them, in the face of this system, they establish ugly comparative grievances, depending on the amount of the “alms”… or are there details that we cannot know? symbiosis perhaps? "I help you and you help me", or: "I help you with my discretion.."
Ok, it's true... it's speculation, but I think the sanctity of the organization is known.
Giving the silver 'medal' reminds the donor that others have been more generous... He compares it, intrinsically granting more merit and value to the amount donor, compared to the other.
In fact, this theme is reminiscent of other religious approaches.
There is a phrase attributed to Jesus from when alms was given to those who needed it: "...don't let your left hand know what your right hand is doing...", unlike certain castes in Palestine at the time, who gave them ringing bells, when they made a donation, to be recognized for their generosity. Even if it were uncertain, it makes a lot of sense. Well, it is related to the ego, humility, etc.
It is clear that Hubbard's petty prescription, not to give alms, taking advantage of the Eastern precept: "Do not give fish, teach how to fish", (as if they were incompatible things...), had the exception in favor of himself. .
Maybe tomorrow they will tell us on the main TV networks about some nice acts of social solidarity, done with that money, who knows...
wow those people really have so much money to waste instead to donate for real causes

LRH and DM have delivered nothing!
Yes, you are right. They've delivered nothing but suffering, bankruptcy(moral/emotional/financial), and death-literally.
Whomever placed those chairs must have worked for Jet Blue or Southwest in a previous life.

If COS is looking for a new captain why don’t they throw some people on the “cans” and find a former life captain or just appoint a child
⬆️ Comment meant for latest Group therapy episode.
Stop Making Sense!😉😂
I am definitely loving the turquoise outfit. I’d love one for me spouse!

My respects and congratulations to Alex and company. 👏👏👏
It's heartbreaking to see their faces and the amount of money they were scammed. And the kids. It's all sad

Ok I counted/calculated 672 chairs in the three sections up front close to the band. No idea further back!!
