Alex Barnes-Ross, a/k/a ‘Apostate Alex,’ continues to be on a roll. Fresh off of his success with his three days of protest at Scientology’s IAS weekend, he dug into one of the details of the third day, the Sunday charity concert. Images showed that East Grinstead’s mayor was there to pick up a large charity check, and then later at Twitter he defended his cozy relationship with Scientology.
Where is the integrity is showing up to turn on Christmas lights for a group that has zero affiliation with Christmas, and purports that Christianity is an “implant?”
It should definitely raise eyebrows, like a Jewish or Muslim organization hosting a pig roast.
Also, if you deploy the orchestra pit and close the upper mezzanine and perhaps the back rows of the lower mezz at the Shrine, you could bring that 6,300 capacity down significantly.
don't know if the mayor will deduce that the check was actually paid - for the most part - by people in hundreds of cities around the world, who can't save for a crisis, but do support a soulless billionaire.
Most local politicos don't get much 'recognition' and I can see any local councilperson happily getting their picture taken while getting a giant check for some worthy cause, by any local group. As long as the group isn't NAMBLA, everything is ok. Calling anyone out for supporting the CO$ is another matter, out them and shame them if necessary. $cientology is the Ebola coated kiddie porn of the world.
