I think it’s the use of the word “deadlock” that has folks in a tizzy (myself included). It implies a finality that we just haven’t reached yet, and I think that makes the proceedings feel more ... finished (?) than they actually are.

Therapy is difficult I’m in CBT and it’s just a lot of work, it makes me realize how hard it would be for ex-Scientologists to seek it as well.
