I don’t think the Supreme Court will take this up but in a way I wish they would because I firmly believe the church of scientology would lose. And that would be a great day.

How will plaintiffs prove that Miscavige and his minions caused the harm noted in the lawsuit? All this other stuff is procedural and the big question is can 'arbitration' be forced for every claim made by a former member? It is ridiculous for that to be a bone of contention, but the CO$ has always been at war with desert topping and floor wax.

I don't see how the legality of $cieno 'arbitration' can be brought in, unless the Garcia's appeal goes higher. There might be another way......psssst...'Amy Coney Barrett, do you know what Hubbard said about Jesus Christ....'

Fascinating. For an entity with complete disdain for the wog world, COS certainly spends time and money trying to make it work for them. The conservative religiously grounded justices of the Supreme Court will find the petition intriguing, but likely not take it up.

I really really hope the Supreme Court ignores this with a vengeance.

However, I really really wish the Supreme Court would review this, stomp on the convoluted request and publish their ruling in favor of Bixler to be used against scientology in all future attempts at end runs around the legal system.

I realize this only applies to what happens after they leave scientology, but if we are being honest here, there are soooo many people out there living in fear of leaving because of what can happen to them if they do.

To have SCOTUS address the fact head on that ex Scientologists are harassed after they leave would be epic.

And…my guess is they will refuse to even take it up.
