Congratulations to Jane Doe 1 and to her legal team. For the umpteenth time, one wonders what's so special about the criminal organisation known as the "church" of $cientology that the law refuses to see the obvious? A cult in Kansas did not get any favours...

I’d be interested in hearing from someone in Spain who can report on approximately how many people are doing services at the ideal org in Spain.

No one puts Dave Miscavige in the corner. Or has their name said more often than his. And Tom Cruise doesn't want his name associated with $cientology any more than he has to.

Gavin Potter is Schrodinger's FSM. His location and speed can't be known without a process server dragging him from under the rock he is hiding under. $cientology's 'arbitration' is unconscionable and indeed inherently unfair. So rule on that judge and get the case moving.

The introduction to Tom Cruise was as nauseating as his speech. Even the girl giving the intro rolled her eyes a couple of times. As for the speech, if it’s not your native language, and you’re not willing to put in the rehearsal time, less is more. No one wants to hear someone extensively mangle their language, even Tom Cruise. Listening to him read that was like listening to a kindergarten child sound out words. Only this was a public speech! He thought so little of these people he didn’t even bother to take the time to learn his speech well enough to sound like he cared. And it showed.

Since David Miscavige is described as the “current” ecclesiastical leader, maybe there is hope there will come a day when he will no longer have that title. But if that is wishful thinking then perhaps Tom will start to wonder whatever happened to that woman that used to hang around him and Dave? Where’s what’s her name?

And why didn’t Dave do a better job finding a girlfriend for Tom? So many questions.

My favorite line from the full press release is Scientology pointing out that tens of thousands passed by the Paris org during the Olympics. That truly is amazing.

And how is that ideal org doing now? Curious after 20 years if it is packed with people.

And I used to C/S at the Sherman Oaks office in 1978 - 80 ish... Missed the Tom Cruise excitement, but knew Mimi. Hard to remember much about that time, but it was Reed Slatkin who was running it then.
