In March we enjoyed watching a video of Sandrine Mootoo-Hall celebrating her completion of OT 3, Scientology’s “Wall of Fire” that introduces Scientologists to the story of Xenu the galactic overlord.
And now the London Scientology staffer is celebrating another big milestone: She’s completed Operating Thetan Level Four, OT 4!
Former London staffer Alex Barnes-Ross had some thoughts about this auspicious occasion.
Earlier this year when I bumped into Sandrine outside London Org on LRH’s birthday, I took the opportunity to congratulate her on passing through the ‘Wall of Fire’ — OT 3. I pointed out she now knows about Xenu, to which she whooped and hollared, only adding to the hilarity of the encounter. Now she has completed OT 4, she’s learned that the Body Thetans she is riddled with were in fact drug addicts in their past lives, and she has successfully confronted them, paving the way for her to approach the ‘Second Wall of Fire’ known as OT 5.
Although I never worked with Sandrine, she seems to be close with Charlie’s mum Nat, who was OT 5 when I knew her. She was one of the kindest souls and was certainly a motherly figure in the Org. I can imagine she is providing Sandrine some comfort and reassurance — as the Bridge gets weirder and weirder, it’ll all make sense on the next level… Promise!
In reality, Sandrine is spending every day recruiting newcomers and promising the public that everything they’ve heard about Xenu and space aliens is ‘Black PR’ and not what Scientology is all about. (Are you paying by cash or card?) And then in the evenings, she’s spending hours at Saint Hill auditing her drug-addicted Body Thetans. If that’s not the definition of insanity, I don’t know what is.
Yes, OT 4 is one of the very best, and we’ve had a lot of fun with it in the past when we realized that both Greta Van Susteren and her husband, attorney John P. Coale, had completed OT 4.
Here are a few of our thoughts from that piece…
On OT 3 you might learn that you are not just one being but actually a collection of many, perhaps thousands, of unseen souls clustered together after being marooned on Earth in a genocidal act 75 million years ago, but on OT 4, you learn that there’s even more work than simply chasing away these “body thetans” or “BTs.” It turns out that your unseen body thetans also have drug histories, and it’s your job to get them all to go through some kind of rehab to dry out.
…At about $10,000 for the level, it is your task to determine those drug histories and dry out the junkies you have for space cooties…
And Hubbard is ready for your objection that you may not have used any drugs in this lifetime: “Maybe the guy has never taken LSD or Pheno-barbitol in his lifetime and doesn’t have any of that drug actually in his body. But the BT or cluster freewheeling through an incident containing the drug mocks up the apparency of the drug in the body, making the guy feel that he is on that drug.”
Hubbard’s jargon is a bit thick, but you get the idea — your current life is going to be affected by your unseen spirits re-experiencing their drug binges from millions or billions of years ago until you take care of it.
Isn’t that just the best? You’re paying tens of thousands because Scientology says some unseen alien entities did a bit too much galactic blow back in the day, and it’s your job to dry them out.
Way to go, Sandrine, way to go!

Sandrine looks more and more like what Hubbard referred to as “glee of insanity” with each level. It’s harder to leave and get your brain back once you’ve gotten the body thetan indoctrination. Even Hubbard drove himself slowly insane believing these clusters of other souls had attached themselves to him. He had no right pretending he knew the secrets of the brain. I hope Sandrine is ok.
(Are you paying by cash or card?) The true end phenomenon of $cientology.
If we have so many BTs that were drug addicts, we also must have many drug addict counselors in us too. Why didn't Lroon make those two groups fight it out? Oh, silly me, that is where the 'cash or card' thing comes in to play.
