Our courtroom observer just described what happened this morning in Jane Doe’s forced-marriage case, and we said we could hardly believe what we were hearing.
Plaintiffs and Defendants both have a right up to a certain point to preemptorily file to have the judge removed. For example, Leah Remini did that in her lawsuit and then the next judge refused herself because her husband is an attorney whose firm has worked for Scientology. David Miscavige also filed in that case to remove the judge even after trulings abd duch had already been made on previous motions.
So, the question becomes at what point can the court or the judge say it's too late.
There's actually a good reason to have this in place - example: the defendant is Black and the judge has a history of inequity in rulings, sentences, or treatment of Black Defendants over other races - but Scientology/COB is pushing it here.
Someone needs to give these judges a copy of Hubbard's Black Ops playbook; it still works like a charm if you have more money and chops than conscience. They might CC the judges on the DJT cases also as it seems like his attorneys boned up on the LRH method of dealing with "justice" as well.
I don't understand this rule at all. Is it seriously that easy to get rid of a judge you don't like?

I don’t know, but I hope not
So, all you have to say is “I don’t like this judge, he’s mean!“ and you get to have an entirely new trial? That totally sucks!
BUGGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
UGH!!! I'm out of words.
So many unprintable and very apt words are coming to mind right now. So so frustrating

Well, that's due process for you.
Stay strong, plaintiffs!
