Cory Palka continues to be a major stain on the LAPD. But the question remains: if the LAPD was aware of how the Hollywood division had been infiltrated by Scientology, why did they allow Cory Palka to retire with honours and presumably on his full service pension? Why have they not cleared out the department, root and branch? How many other coverups was Cory Palka involved in during his time as a senior LAPD officer?

I am *very* interested to hear testimony from Detective Reyes.

Kudos and much respect to all of the Jane Does. You told your stories well and I hope the jury got it. No matter what anyone says, the CO$ and its mindset are guilty. Tony, you are proof against any $cieno 'tone 40' attack, if that is the best that Miscavige can do, Danny Masterson had better get ready for that orange jump suit.

Tony, you keep mentioning how brave these women are for their testimonies. As a previous rape counselor, director of a rape crisis center, and victim of rape myself, I just want you to know how brave they really are... There’s so much more to their stories than we’ll ever know-maybe even more than they can even recall. Not only are they brave, they are re-victimized every time they take the stand and recall the incident.

Every single time they ever talk about it they have to re-live it, so these violent rapes committed by Masterson didn’t just happen to each of them once and they walked away. It’s left deep scars on their souls that will stay with them for life.

You can’t counsel or yoga or pray that kind of violence away; that violent invasion of your body. It’s something your ‘fight or flight’ instincts won’t let you, not after what’s happened to you. It’s arm to arm combat, for defenseless individuals. (I say individuals instead of just women, because boys, and men, are frequently victims of rape rape too).

I can’t imagine how they’re feeling but they are heroic, remarkable, and brave.

Keep fighting the good fight and I hope soon the truths and crimes of this cult will become widespread and mainstream. My heart just hurts for what these victims and countless others have been through. Thank you for your brave work.

Hey Tony, since all three of these women have testified that ‘the church’ wouldn’t let them report the rapes to the police, that their policy is to handle rape inside the church, well, that’s a criminal offense.

And makes the church an accessory to a crime. And this is only three we know about.

Shouldn’t this be the fuel the government needs to take them to court to remove their non profit status once and for all??? They can’t be involved in criminal activities and be a nonprofit org. 🤔.

And by the way, as much as the Judge doesn’t want this trial to be about Scientology, this makes it very much about Scientology….

Very good questions. I think if there's a conviction in this case, it will put some pressure on other agencies to look into these issues.

I hope so. If the public puts the pressure on...

Even in the 1970s the Hollywood LAPD was in bed with scientology. I hope that will change or has changed since 2017.

Aren’t they still?

"Eventually, however, Ronan Farrow" is a phrase I am ALWAYS happy to see, but which I wish we NEVER had to see. All these men covering up for each other is so disgusting. Executives, celebrities, cops ... no matter what walk of life, it's like they're men first and humans second, and their loyalty is to each other. I've never understood it.
