Last month, those of us interested in the whereabouts of Scientology leader David Miscavige’s wife Shelly Miscavige — who has not been seen at Scientology events since 2005 — were surprised to learn from an anonymous tip at Reddit that she had been registered to vote in 2017 at an address in Petrolia, California.
All those weeks with daily doses up to 5000 mg of pure niacin (not the wimpy niacinamide stuff that doesn't make your skin flush) may catch up to us one day. Do your yearly checkups and tell your doctor.
So Gold Base (It's not in Hemet, they don't want to be associated any more with $cientology) is now a retirement home for $cienoes who 'know too much'. At least they aren't getting the R2-45 'procedure'. The Clampire has disappeared Dear Leaders inconvenient wife and allowed Niblet to consort with anyone he can consort with. How convenient.
That big back drop for Chicago looks like a Transformer(tm) to me. It needs a name. How about Hubstumus Inferior?
The Int Base Retirement Community. How much do you want to bet that it is not certified with the County as such and violates even the most rudimentary standards for elder care? Maybe a slew of welfare checks from concerned relatives could get Riverside County protective services interested.
I can see a great opportunity for some Medical fraud there. What do you think of having younger $cienoes being 'caregivers' for the really infirm? There is Medicaid money for such services. Being a 'caregiver' doesn't need much in the way of paperwork.
Being an actual, licensed 'retirement home' or some such, is just too much of a paper trail to bother with. And the legal exposure would be immense.
Getting 'welfare checks' would be so nice. And the 'retirees' might actually reconnect with family members.
I did ask for a welfare check by Adult Protective Services a few years ago on my relative after we hadn't heard from her for a few months. They went and checked on her - she got mad at me and later disconnected.
Probably that is already happening. But with the Scientology twist that no "psych" medications are allowed. And without proper training. It is probably another horrorshow like the "care" that Uwe Stuckenbrock got on the PAC RPF.
I have seen it happen even 20 years ago when I was there. Shark cartilage instead of chemo. Colonic cleanses instead of colonoscopies.
The sad part, even worse than that, is that some of these elderly SO members will actually be eligible for Medicaid, the California additional version Medi-Cal, and may collect Social Security as well. In some cases they may have inherited cash or may have savings from prior jobs. In any case there is opportunity here for probate fraud on a grand scale, with the elderly barely maintained at all while the cash goes to keeping the lights on at the Int Base.
Random Red Alert for former Scientologists: Recent research indicates that overdoses of niacin can increase heart disease risk. https://www.nature.com/articles/s41591-023-02793-8

I think it is a good idea for other families to do this as well. Every county has an APS referral hotline. APS in Riverside County is (800) 491-7123. https://rivcodpss.org/elder-and-dependent-adult-abuse

The Transformer is in Austin Texas, not Chicago.
If they really want people to attend these openings they should announce Shelly will be there to do the ribbon cutting.
The “thing” in front of the Chicago org screams “evil empire” to me. So dark and intimidating; hardly welcoming.
