Bruce writes and explains very well physical and mental duress, physical and mental control and brainwashing. It would be great if everyone REALLY understood what those like Bruce and many MANY others went through with this organization called The Church of Scientology. Keep writing and testifying Bruce; you continue to make a difference.

Thank you Bruce, this is such great detail. And I have heard that Sue Koon ended up in the Hole for many years after Dan blew. I believe she was there in 2004, and also 2012 when Ron Miscavige blew. Maybe all the years in between? This is such a stupid way to run an organization of any kind, thus explaining why all they have left is aging Sea Org, trafficked young people from other countries, and a few whales.

Well said Mary Kahn, Bruce has a way with the prose and his memory is excellent. The Sea bOrg mantra should be 'but for the grace of COB, there go I'. DM's whims are not to be trifled with.

Although LRH invented RPF, after Miscavige took over, it seems to have become more of a way of life than a punishment for sea org members. It was almost a guarantee that if you rose to any level of prominence in sea org, if Miscavige even knew you existed, you would eventually get in his bad side for some real or imagined wrong and spend inordinate amounts of time making up for that.

As Bruce so competently relates in this story, finishing RPF had nothing to do with what you did nor did staying off RPF.

This story makes me wonder where Heber, Mithoff, Yeager, et al are today. They had the bad fortune of rising too high in the organization and not escaping like others.

You have to believe the DM planned the whole debacle. It probably gave him great pleasure to see Bruce suffer and I am sure he justified it by saying Bruce was not finished with the RPF, they just had to get Wiebke off (as described above) and Bruce became collateral damage. There are not that many moving pieces at the Int Base and COB knew exactly what he was doing.

I thought I would like to pursue a career in this "spiritual genre". I worked for Gene Scott ministries.Big mistake.

Dear Bruce, I believe you can write another story about "a bad comm cycle with DM". I don't think people grasp how little it takes/took to upset him, become investigated by him and lose a career or standing in the church as a result of interactions with him. I am sure you can give us some outrageous examples.
