This is the kind of reporting you can't find anywhere else.

Nothing getting by Tony here, looking forward to justice being served over the next few weeks, and we can Trust the Tone Dawg to give us the scoop.

Reading this, at first, I was concerned the prosecution was close to Scientology's operative.

Tony sees the operative as likely having flipped.

He knows the subject better than me. I hope he's right!

That was my first thought as well. Unless he's some sort of "double agent" (in spy lexicon) who is either trying to influence the prosecution on Scientology's behalf or will do a 180 when he testifies. That seems quite unlikely though, because he could get in a ton of trouble doing something like that.

Consider the trouble that people have brought upon themselves before for the benefit of the cult. Plus, it's safe to say that the Prosecutor's Office wouldn't be too keen to prosecute all that loudly and publicly someone who managed to make a fool of them. Not the look they'd want.

"We wanted to cogitate on it." Tony, you have been in $cienoland for too long. If you start to 'postulate' I'd call a deprogrammer.

Have some fun while you are in LA LA land, but watch your back. Dave Miscavige can't send missiles, but he can get behind all sorts of 'dirty tricks'. It is in his nature to do such things.

A formerly $cieno OSA dude may have turned states evidence? I bet Mr. 4 foot 13 has just soiled his pants.

Indeed. Two words for driving in LA: Dash. Camera.

I sincerely hope the spy has turned and scientology is not using him on Mueller.

I love your coverage, even if it's coming from a "smart phone". These reports are making it hard to work!🌝

Yes. Tony, you keep it up!

That's huge. HUGE. Picture, if you will, a middle-aged English woman with hair yellower than the sun, ho-ho-ho-ing and rubbing her hands together with glee.

Daaaaaanmmmm I was scared the spy was a plant...but if what you're saying is true and he is to testify for the prosecution....EEEEK! Look out scientology!! I'm loving your reporting!! Worth every $$$$$

My guess about who the Scientology spy is would have to be either Greg Arnold or Paul Marrick, as I know they were tasked with spying on Pat Broeker in a multi-year operation more than a decade ago

Right, hopefully someone of that caliber, doing the right thing, and not able to be bought by Scientology anymore.

Years ago, when John Connolly was gathering info for Scientology, I had the thought that someday, if legit PIs who are ex FBI, ex Secret Service, who work for the top drawer PI firms, if they would turn on Scientology when they noticed other PIs crossing the line, etc, and help prosecutors, then that'd be a good change.

I hope this is an instance of that kind of change.

Your coverage is really awesome! It makes me feel so much closer to the daily news you report so well. 👏🏻

Thanks for all your effort.

The Scientology promotion video with several on duty, in uniform police promoting them is disgusting. Any violation of their police department regs. with them doing this?

Chuck Beatty's avatar

Sounds hopeful if this mystery Scientology spy is willing to turn/flip and help the prosecutor.
