On Wednesday we celebrated the arrival of the new Impact magazine, the Scientology publication that annually (and sometimes more frequently) names the biggest donors to the International Association of Scientologists (IAS), which is Scientology’s membership organization.
Compare Scientology’s horn-tooting about dollars grifted *across time* to a real global humanitarian organization like the Red Cross’s report about *annual* expenditures on programs. The Red Cross never mentions square feet, and Scientology never provides transparency on program expenditures.
I wonder how many whales are in stealth mode and their 'contributions' unpublished? Where is Tom 'Couch jumper' Cruise's 'contributions'? How about John Travolta? Hell, how about an accounting of what that IAS money is used for? I am not holding my breath waiting for Karin Pouw to hand over that information.
So Elizabeth Moss doesn’t donate after all her success these past couple years? I’m calling bullshit on that list, or their development department. If they’re not generating better donations from the big fish than that; and the true exposed population isn’t supporting them better in the public’s eye, then they need a new development director. I know, I was one. A card carrying member of the NSFRE.
