Incredible story telling. I'm dying to hear about Bill Good now, who has had some impact on Scientology, and am curious what you witnessedd.

You're like a Mrs. Forest Gump in the small world of Scientology history.

I'm so glad you were paid well for your work you describe.

I hate to hear about Mark's treatment of you, and wish someone had put a stop to that.

I hope to see all your writing in a book someday.

Val learned to endure everything in her life. That is how many cope with abusive groups and family. It does take a terrible toll on the abusee and if listen, you can hear Val's inner voice coping, and getting her way in many things. That inner voice was her right and wrong circuit telling her what was right and wrong. And cope she did, she kept the family in food and with the help of her extended family kept a roof over their heads.

Val's take on the 8 dynamics is perfect. Everything must serve the Clampire and everyone on the totem pole gets a voice in what 'makes it go right'. Everyone but the PC, that is.

Dave Enders may be the reason Battle Creek is still on the Ideal mOrg list. That million is a very tempting target for everyone on the totem pole. I wonder how many other Clams have donated for Battle Creek?

"....Val's take on the 8 dynamics is perfect...." ! yes !

The "Hubbard Dynamic" is the secret top dynamic every cult member eventually ponders/learns. And Hubbard turned his pathology into Scientology for everyone to center on for posterity.

Val’s on going story is an accurate depiction of how Scientology does very little to deliver a resolution of mental issues members carried with them into the cult. Her reference to the dynamics and how Hubbard used his brilliant truth to manipulate his followers was spot on. Hubbard wanted to make atheists who then illogically elevated him to god status. The dynamics concept effectively got that result.

Val is a shining example of “you are a Scientologist now, welcome to the nightmare.” Her story is painful for me to read. It’s also an accurate assessment of just how evil Hubbard’s grand scheme is.

Omg-i also worked at Overnight Graphics but only for a very short time back in 1988. I knew Phil and everyone who worked there pretty well. I was definitely younger than them as i was 24 in 1988.

In 1983 i attended college where i met Bret Condron who eventually got adopted by Bill and Joava Good. I spent lots of time at their home. Bill was the most successful person i met at the time and i loved having conversations with him. I read everything written by Ayn Rand because of him and his collection of all her writings and essays. Bret and i were great friends and i introduced him to his future wife at a bar.

I met Hana Eltringham when she was staying at Bill and Joava’s house as well as many others. I wasn’t a Scientologist, just a good friend of Bret.

Val, I tried to hook up with you on FB but there are too many Val Ross's and I couldn't tell which woudl be you. I have similar track in UT that you do at the SLC mission. I knew Phil Parks and his company and I know Bill Goode and I suspect the registrar you mention is John. What years were you at the SLC mission ? We might have just missed each other if you were there earlier than I was. Thank you for your well written autobiography. Get a publisher cuz it's that good. I hate that your husband gotr away with beating you. I"m glad you escaped all of that.
