Seeing those buildings and the street brings back so many (unpleasant) memories. I guess that confirms I don’t miss it at all.

In other news, after the story about Norman Starkey passing away four years ago, it got me to wondering about whether my mom was still around or not. Of course she’s in her 70’s and still in the Sea Org. I reached out to one of my family members to find out. Well yeah, she’s still around and kicking. I was curious what they talk about…. Of course its “good roads, good weather”. I could hear the groan of frustration. Then he went on to explain that she always tries to call within a certain window of time and if he misses it, trying to call her back puts him at the main switchboard and he gets the third degree interrogation about why he’s trying to reach her. They don’t just forward the call to her.

I guess those Sea Org members are just so, so busy changing the world, and family members need to step out of the way and allow the Sea Org members, who have sacrificed everything, to get on with their very important posts.

Ugh. What a total waste.

Going back 10 years L. Ron Hubbard way was bustling with activities and the idea of a few squirrels trying to intimidate the expanding cherch would have been inconceivable.

A decade later the central organizations LA Org, ASHO and the Advanced Org are a bastions of cowering sycophants. I am surprised that Julian Swartz was not out there squirrel busting. This goes to show just how effective journalists and bloggers like Tony have been. Keep up the great work.

Geoff, I was "on course" at ASHO from '99 to 2002, and yes, the street was busy and the course rooms were full. On breaks and at lunch time, there was often a very long line snaking out of the canteen...

Glad to see this criminal cult shrinking, and hoping to see the Pimping Pope of scientology incarcerated "in this lifetime"...

Love “pimping pope” name for the diminutive douchbag, I wonder what more seasoned ataff think. They must see they are sinking fast.

This is exactly the response we had at the inaugural 1995 internet picket in Clearwater. Everyone was kept inside with the blinds drawn. Scientology is as robust as a snowflake, could not bear the heat of opposing viewpoints and woggy perspectives.

"Confront and Shatter"😂😂😂

"Use communication, not disconnection". Well said, but you must know that only 'official' communication is allowed and if you don't kowtow to the overlord, you will be disconnected. Disconnection is one of the few weapons that that the Clampire can wield and it is used at the whim of someone higher up on the food chain.

I wish the freezone good luck in trying to reform Corporate $cientology, but I know that 'reform' can't happen under Mustravige.

As Gavin Potter is in hiding, I guess it is up to Michael Chan to beat the bushes for more donations. At 10 to 15% commission, I bet he enjoys going anywhere.

I say good for them. I wish there were more then 6 but still better then doing nothing.

Of course it won’t reform scientology even if there were 50 and they did it everyday but the crew inside will have their own thoughts about it all and know there are people on the outside for help.

Even if just one leaves - it’s all worth it.

And it’s hilarious that AOLA picked this day to close off it’s sidewalks and steamclean the gum off.

There should have been at least a few public because it was into the lunch time but NONE!

Maybe they catered it in for them.

Glad I’m not there inside or out.

I am sure they were power washing right there because that building, and that exact window, is where the RTC office for PAC area is. They were doing it to keep the protesters from being in front of those specific windows.

I’m glad I have left all thoughts of thinking anything in scientology is worth reforming far in the rear view mirror. The sooner a person realizes that any trace of what Hubbard said that was good was plagiarized and the rest is just mind control, the sooner they will be able to get on with their lives. Well done for sticking to her guns. I will not decry anyone’s right to choose.

apologize if on some occasions I may be offensive, or have been, given the feeling that this organization has aroused in me, for years, but

aware that everyone is a victim, starting with the leadership of the 'multinational' (from themselves... but light years from their subordinates).

The great changes in history began with small and significant gestures, of no apparent importance.

And you will understand that I am not referring to improving something that has been adulterated from minute one, but rather that it can represent a new turning point, and a revulsive, why not?

Oh and I love the cops just couldn't wait to reprimand the small group of protesters on such a busy street to stay on the sidewalk. HAHAHAHA Too bad Victoria didn't have a huge following, however, would it be worth it? I think not.

RESTORE SCIENTOLOGY????!! Hubbard was insane from everything I've learned on the Bunker, so what's to restore? It needs to be dismantled piece by piece and the criminals need to be held to account.

Thanks Tony, great stuff, she's right, we need to restore and put miscav in jail. I am currently getting (not fake) auditing and it is great.

Scientology was great fun in 1976.
