In April we stopped by the special convention they had in the San Fernando Valley, where the richies were hit up for the big bucks, and in the weeks since then Scientology has been issuing announcements of just how much cheddar they’ve turned over.
Tom Cruise and John Travolta are just such big beings that they don't need the adulation of the clam bed for their donations to the Clampire. And it would really hurt their careers to be known for giving any sum to Miscavige.
So why do the Duggans and the other whales get lauded for their over the top donations? Some egos need to be fed the tears of the Sea bOrg.

Imagine how many actually needy people could have been helped with all this money that is used on private investigators, lawyers and harassment of people and empty buildings that just sit empty.
