Tony, watching and interacting with you, I’ve learned so much about what a real investigative journalist does. I’m very grateful that you have been on the case through thick and thin. Thank you.

I can never thank you enough for your years of shining a bright light on the insanity, injustice and true looney tunes of Scientology. Your investigative journalistic style is in a class by itself. You are our Bull Dog.

My local paper had a side column blurb about Masterson's conviction. They mentioned the CO$ connection, I count that as a small victory. Now, the harassment that the Janes and their families suffered and their civil lawsuit needs much more media exposure. The crimes of the Clampire are getting more notice, but 'mainstream' media needs to cover that lawsuit much better.

Give the prosecution and the Judge their due. The judge allowed more testimony about the drugging and that sealed the case. I still don't understand why JD3 did not get a guilty verdict, but hopefully we will get more info on that in the near future.

I noticed that CNN acknowledged you as the first to report back in 2017 on the initial investigation!

I have skimmed through several other news reporting on the verdict and am just in awe at how many of them are saying that he is facing a MAXIMUM of 30 years (in stead of minimum 30 years to LIFE) ... I am SOOOOOOOO glad that I have followed your reports the entire time and understand the magnitude of all aspects of the case (both on the record and off).

I am thankful that this judge is so prepared to defend her rulings. I know she is smart enough to see that Scientology is involving themselves and even using "Fair Game" in this trial to attempt to intimidate or discredit witnesses including the officers that took the reports. I wonder is she has been specifically targeted yet or will now that the verdict was guilty in an attempt to get her sentencing and rulings overturned on appeals?

Love it when you and Chris get together and talk COS. Great analysis of trial and what might be coming. A lot of hurt for Scientology I hope. Now I can't wait for the next Group Therapy. :-)

Tony Ortega, you are a virtuous human being, thankyou.

What does all this mean (Chris asks)?

For me, it sadly means Scientology is not an organization able to morally deal with their extremely immoral followers.

Scientology ought to have turned Danny over to authorities, Danny ought to have been given a sufficiently stern "ethics handling" to turn himself in, admit he'd raped the women, and suffered the consequences. (He could do so now, also, he could publicly admit he raped them, and accept his punishment, that would be a huge step in the right direction, morally.)

Religions are supposed to make their followers more moral, honest, and admit their felonies, when their felonies get to the point where the outside legal system of the country that follower/"church" is located has been prosecuted, and they know the follower is guilty. JUST ADMIT one's guilt, pay the price for one's felony.

Scientology is a failure, if society's legal system does find them guilty, fairly, in the legal system.

Society had to put "ethics in" and in this instance, Scientology failed to do so.

Tony is incredible, his concern for the victims is virtuous.

I don't know what Tony's religion is, or isn't, but Tony is a virtuous human being.

Conclusion: Scientology (official, full orthodoxy following the full gamut of Hubbard's rules) is an immoral partner in society, and can make huge errors failing to "put in ethics" on their followers to behave themselves honestly and turn themselves in and admit guilt for their felonies in life, and humbly pay their dues being punished according to the law.

The best Danny could do is admit guilt, and humbly accept his punishment, and apologize and make amends to the women, and do so as soon as possible. That would reflect more positively on Scientology, but Scientology isn't pushing him to do so, and Scientology is such a poor partner in society that they won't' ever push Danny to do the right thing.

This leads me to wonder whether the harassment will stop or double down. That will go a long way in showing how scientology currently feels about Masterson.

I must admit that after reading every word of Tony's dispatches from the first trial, following the mistrial, I kind of checked out. I haven't been paying attention to the retrial. It was too painful for me to face what those women had to go through AGAIN, and with no guarantee that it wouldn't simply end in another mistrial or a "not guilty" verdict. I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. It's quite rare these days that justice is served.

Can you please ask Chris why in the world he blocked me on Twitter? Bizarre. I actually agreed with him on a post a few months ago and he blocked me immediately. Didn’t make sense. Here I am, supporting this whole movement since 2016 (including him) and he blocks me.

Tony I noticed you didn't comment at all about the "Dead File" subject...I'm curious why...it was a little awkward...Chris wanted some dialogue about it but you were tight lipped. Anyone have any thoughts about this??

Nice to hear that JD1&2 have a chance of completely bankrupting Rapey Masterson with civil suits.
